Briony swung up ito a tree, grabbing her belt and strapping herself to the tree, also digging her axes into the trunk.

Artemis stared up at the giant wave. "Run!" She yelled, heading towards the forest, hesitating,

Hunter ran after her. Seeing her hesitate, he scooped her up, running to the nearest tree, hoisting her up.

Artemis grabbed the tree, yelling "Don't carry me you tool!" She dragged herself up higher, hugging the trunk tightly as the wave towered over the two of them. Hunter grabbed the trunk as well

The roar of water sounds behind me. Oh, cr**! I think worridly. I look up to Zoe and Alice. And some other girl... Eyes wide in terror, I begin to scramble up a tree. "Help me!! Please!!" I scream up to them.

With a scream, I grab the rope after her. "Wait! Just let- us- come with you!" I yell to them, seeing the young girl below us.

How did this happen? Rose was high up in a tall tree where she hoped no one would find her. All she had was a jacket with four throwing knife pockets, with the knives in them, a small bottle of iodine, a water bottle, a sleeping bag, some rope, and a bag of dried beef. She was slowly picking at a piece, remembering how Katniss Everdeen did last year. It tasted horrid, but it was all she had. Then Rose heard rustling in the leaves below. She quickly stuffed her things in the pack, brought out a knife, and snuggled deep into the camoflauged sleeping bag.
