Judging is now over.

This dragon makes it's home in red papaver fields and has no trouble hiding amongst the tall flowers despite it's strikingly bold colouration.

Poppy
A feminine name maybe but it fits I find. Papavers and poppies look very alike, I think they are related actually, so that was partially the reason for the name choice.

Like a display bird. He uses his colours to attract females that are outside of the papaver fields, as he doesn't seem to attract many whilst around hisnatural environment. Poppy may seem brave to veture outside of the safeties of the fields, but he is very warey about it. He isn't an adventurer, just likes female attention.

Motivation to why you want it:
Here minds me of a poppy like with the name. Poppies are used for remembrace day so... in a way he is my support to those who lost their lives. He's the first one to catch my eye as well, a slight connection is there I feel - however cheesy it may sound.

Gender: Male

Personality: Flander is an optimistic fellow and would likely not abandon his chosen field for anything. He lives in a graveyard, perhaps an odd location for an optimistic dragon, but he sees the passing of some lives as merely opportunities for others. He is content to stay in his little part of the world, but should anything threaten it he would fight for it valiantly. He is fairly laid back and tends to let bygones be bygones and always looks to the promises of the future.

Motivation to why you want it: This guy made me think of my all time favorite poem In Flander's Field and poppies are one of my favorite flowers. Aside from that his design is simply gorgeous!

Thumbule is a sweet character and loves to be surrounded by his friends. Also he is loyal and his chirpy-ness rubs off on other dragons.

As for actually applying overall - when I fell I fell into the long grass and there was a red looking flower by me - I'm not sure what it was but it reminded me of a poppy/papaver. And my friend came round yesterday and ave me a little chocolate rabbit and a fake poppy <3
