He watched his sister and then looked at Desiderius for a moment before looking at his mother again giving her his attention. Crius was curious now, probably more than his father or sister. "So, do you have any stories for us? Do you? I mean you have to have come across something interesting while you were gone right? So, do you mom?" This was typical of Crius to act like this when he was curious. He tended to ramble on a subject with many questions in one big breath.

Birch waded through the ankle-deep water, bobbing her head as she walked along. The mare flicked her ears around, intent on listening to the buzz of dragonflies and splash of swimming fish that surrounded her. She halted for a moment to shake her chocolate pelt before continuing on, memorized by the silence beauty of the bayou.

Bear hunched over as he travelled, still hurt by the sudden absence of the two mares he had been occupied with earlier that day. He shuffled his footing as he stood still in position, glancing around. He softly sighed and flicked his ears in boredom. Bear nibbled on his bottom lip, contemplating whether his introverted self should go back to the unknown marshes surrounding the area, or if he should just search around for a kelpie that didn't mind his presence.

Chase was in one of the deepest parts of the Bayou. The water was above his hooves and up to his ankles. He was just moazying along when he saw a mare. He stopped and looked at her. Her chocolate pelt blended in with the large trunks of the trees that over hung the swamp. "Hello?"he called out to her a little curious of her

Birch halted and broke from her silent daze, hearing a call nearby. ''Huh?'' she quietly spoke to herself as her eyes darted around in search of the caller. A soft snort escaped her muzzle as she saw the cream-coloured male. Birch tilted her head slightly in pure curiosity as she stepped foreward in the water. ''Greetings.'' she murmured softly, slight doubt in her voice; Birch had been warned from a young age that stallions weren't always the kindest, so she had every right to believe he had no good intentions. The mare lifted her head higher and took yet another step of courage towards the stranger, curiosity again consuming her.
