Toppyrocks wrote:HeartofCoal- have you read Wither by Lauren DeStefano? That's dystopian. It's not for everyone though, since it's quite dark and kind of creepy. I really enjoyed it, though. Or Incarceron by Catherine Fisher is good, too, although it's meant for a tinnnyyyy bit younger audience- as in, anyone from possibly middle school to 18/19 is might like it. I found the concept was really fascinating.

I have heard of Wither, but I haven't read it yet. But I'll definitely try it, and Incarceron. Thank you!

His books are so good, I'm glad you're getting them. :) I don't buy a lot of books, but I own all of his just because I love them so much. If you can only buy two I'd recommend The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns, but Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines are really good too. Have you read them already?

I've not read any yet! But I'm planning to get Looking For Alaska and The Faults In Our Stars first!

They're all so good, I hope you like them! I liked those two a lot. (Well, I liked them all a lot, but still xD) Have you watched any of his youtube videos? He has a popular youtube channel with his brother called vlogbrothers.

I read Incarceron a little while ago too. I thought it was good, but the characters were a little flat. It was also just creepy, I thought. I don't get grossed out easily by books, but I thought a bunch of the stuff with the prison was just weird.

Have you read Animal Farm? If you enjoyed 1984 you'd definitely like it. It's one of my favorites, if rather... depressing.

edit:
Also, WELCOME all other new members! I wish I had time to add you all to the list. >_> BUT IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER. The last time I updated that thing was over a year ago, I believe.

Gah late reply is late, sorry about that.
    Haha, thank you c:
I have read it, about two years ago, I do believe. Quite the compelling book; most definitely made me think, but it was also pretty upsetting, as you said. Those darn pigs, huh?
