Ack! She exclaimed, hissing at Gizmo. She sounded angry, but just a look into her eyes and you could see Sour Candy was quite happy. She looked around, slightly embarrassed, and threw three marshmallows each at Gizmo and Apple Bubble's feet. She looked at Apples floofy fur, and an amused pur left her throat. She shouldn't laugh, her fur was curling as it dried, and would stay that way until it was completely dry.

Gizmos fur had matter slightly and was a tad muddy, but he didnt seem to notice. He chuckled lightly at the others, and pushed a marshmallow onto the remaining stick, and held it over the fire. The caramel-coloured cat lay down in front of the fire, and flicked his tail in signal for them to join him.

Apple caraefully stuck a marshmallow on his stick and slowly made his way next to Gizmo infront of the fire. He made sure the he wasn't too close to the flames, yet another of his silly phobia's.

Sour Candy carefully placed a marshmallow on he stick, and moved next to Gizmo on the other side. She purred lightly as the warmth of the fire washed over her. She stuck the stick over the fire, watching the marshmallow with immense concentration. As it turned golden brown, she pulled it back, and popped it in her mouth. The skin on the outside slid off in her mouth, and the sweet, gooey insides made her tastebuds tingle. She purred louder, the deep noise rumbling in her throat. This was when she was at her most content, just now.

A purr rumbled in his throat and exploded through his jaws. He pulled back the stick and popped it in his mouth. His ears flicked back and he shuffled a little closer Sour Candy, so their fur brushed. He wearily lifted his paw, and rested it carefully over hers.

Apple struggled with his stick but in the end got the hang of it. He carefully cooked the marshellow, watching in awe as it melted before his eyes. He popped it into his mouth and purred deeply. His eyes wondered to Gizmo and sour, his ears pricked as he saw their conjoined paws.

Sour's ears flicked back. The small she-cat lifted her paw out from under his, feeling extremely awkward. She looked up at him, and then looked down. She shuffled away, and she murmured "I should..... Probably leave." her eyes darted from Gizmo to Apple Bubble, as she braced herself for rain. She hesitated at the door

Gizmo shrugged, like he didn't care, and put another marshmallow on the stick. "see ya." he called. He glanced jokily at Apple. "Im bad at this, aint I?" he grinned.

Sour slid out, basically falling down the ladder, and ran to the comfort of her home. She opened the door and leapt at the bean-bag in front of the fire. She reached under it and pulled out a book. The small she-cat curled up around it and began to read.

"...Bad at what?" Apple replied obliviously, cocking his head. He didn't have a good understanding of relationships and crushes and sorts. He ruffled his fur, feeling more relaxed now that it was just to two of them, though he was sad to see Sour leave.
