Caleb shook his head "we wouldn't have lasted anyway.... she was a maid and began to hate me the longer we were together....my daughters have both suffered greatly due to their mother. Fait, my youner of the two....seems to be the only one who's somewhat ok... but I doubt shell be good for long." He smiled weakly. "You'll be fine with alese... just don't let others get in the way"

Jaden nodded and left the room.

Jason stood and ran his fingers threw his hair.
Alice walked into the bar and found jason easily.

Hiro found his way onto aelas roof and sighed softly. He missed his old friend, but she had to think him dead

"So your girls are half breeds?...and why did she hate you?" he asked, curious about it and hoping to help his friend. "You can talk with me, you know this is all safe with me"

Jordan sighed softly and leaned against the door frame.

Caleb chuckled deeplyn"humans will always grow to hate us hawke. Its in their nature." The weak smile he had vanished hearing he thoughts of a few maids coming towards the room. "Hawke....where is the maid who was so fond of alese?"

Jaden had passed many maids. One however had cornered her in the kitchen growling "you need to back off of jordan. He only likes you because you're new. But he loves me."
Jaden stayed still for a minute as the maid kept rambling on about how jordan was her lover, she could feel something wasn't right.

Jason looked up as alice walked up to him but she froze seeing avril. She grabbed his arm hard "jason...can we go?"
Jason sighed "yea" he paid for his drink and kissed alices head before starting to leave feeling no more relaxed then when he came in

"I dont think alese will...shes seen my monstrous side, and yet...she still wants to be by my side willingly, not because she works here...that both makes me happy, ad scares me" Hawke sighed sadly "A few of the maids threw her out at dawn...she was dead before we could save her...I was hoping Alese would be to one to choose the punishment..but she wont..I'm thinking ov having them executed anyway"

Jordan staid put, closing his eyes and focusing on all sounds of movement, even the light swish of someone walking by. He then heard what the maids where saying downstairs and growled "Untrue. you all except for Jade and Alese are cruel monsters.." just enough to be heard.

Jaden threw the girl away from her and rushed towards chazzes cell.

Caleb stood and walked to the door opening it. A few maids stood there shocked. He silently brought them all in and shut the doorr.
"Lord caleb....he's in love with a human!" Caleb raised an eyebrow."oh? I thought he loved an angel...."
The girls all froze realizing caleb didn't care.

Alese' breathing got shaky in her sleep. Unknown to caleb he had injected a small amount of venom but not enough to truly turn her.

Phox whined, licking ALeses head softly and nuzzled her worriedly.

Demitri sat from his chair and growled lowly "Eavesdropping are we?..." he said, glaring at the girls, then eyeing his friend.

Caleb looked at hawke "well....in my home they would all be dead right now." They all started crying and huddled together in fear.

Jaden got to the cells and looked around. Shed felt devan nearby and felt afraid.

Alese woke up a little and looked around shaking and whispered "demi.....I need you"

Alice clung to jason knowing avril was a pure blood vampire by her scent and wished hiro were with her.

Hiro stood on aelas's roof and rubbed his head "why am I here?"
