Maybe you were a beloved family pet, or an ex-racedog. Maybe you've always lived without any human contact, by yourself.
Either way, it doesn't matter now. You're a stray.
The life you once had is gone, and now you're living rough and alone, with others just like you.
Who knows what will happen next?

Right now, you're living in an abandoned amusement park.
Nobody has been here for twenty years. Time itself has stopped here, many of the surroundings overgrown.
Once upon a time, many had flocked to go here - to ride the rollercoaster, to have time off from hectic lives, to make new friends.
Nobody can remember why it shut. Maybe it was to do with money, maybe there was a health and safety scare, maybe something big and new appeared, making everybody turn away from this lonely little place.

The dogs live wherever they can warmth and comfort, sleeping on the abandoned rides, drinking dirty and stale water from the log flume, and getting food from the surrounding forests. Small rodents are eaten - nobody likes them that much, but they're starving - as well as the occasional bird or wild berry.

But still, all the laughter and happiness that was once present has vanished - much like your old life.

Maybe that's why it makes you so sad.

At the young age of three years,
Tiffany is very mature. She
doesn't take crap from anyone,
and is gladly a born follower.
She isn't one to go off and do
her own thing,but would rather
join a small group. Tiffany is a
female,although I'm not sure how
many male Tiffany's you know.
She is a Catahoula Leopard Dog,a
hunting or herding breed. Tiffany,
while loving being near people,also
loves her downtime. She is a pretty
chill dog and has a sweet and beautiful
temperament. Tiffany was born to
her mother in a small apartment. She
has never known her father and rarely
recalls her siblings. She loved her home
life, but soon her mother and she was
abandoned. With her mother in a frail
state and quite old,she soon passed,
leaving Tiffany on her own. With the
young female wandering,she came
across this once busy amusement park
and settled down. But young Tiffany isn't
done yet. She,like other dogs of her age,
is ready to settle down with a family.

Boer is merely five years in age,and
built like an ox. This tough guy reaches
30 inches in height. His name is
pronounced like; Beau-her. Being a
mastiff his jaw strength is much stronger
than some smaller and more lithe dog
breeds. Boer knows he's big and bad,
and he uses this to his advantage, taking
everything one step at a time. Boer is a male,
not to mention how many times I have used; "he".
He is just a big teddy bear, but will gladly defend
his home and family with his life. Back when Boer
was little, his mama,Secret, took care of him well.
He was the largest of the litter and out of his six
siblings, was the nicest. Boer was quickly adopted
out from his family and placed into another home.
This one had three children and parents, all of whom
Boer adored. Of course, this didn't last long, because
the family didn't know how large Boer would actually
get. They soon left him on the side of the street and
he never saw his family again. Boer now resides within
the broken down amusement park, defending his life.
On a much brighter note,Boer is gladly looking for a mate
and a family, just impress the big lug!

Name: Miles
Age: 6
Gender: Male
Breed: Irish wolfhound
Looks: Miles has a light grey pelt, consisting of wiry fur, covering his body. Because of his homelessness, this has not been cleaned, cut or brushed in a long time, so is filled with mud and fleas. This can cause discomfort in him, which subsequently makes Miles quite grumpy and angry. His eyes are a hazel colour, and are quite large, although hard to see due to his long fur. In total, he is about a meter tall.
Personality: Miles tends to be grumpy constantly, always moaning to the other dogs about how everything is mad. He is also highly sarcastic and blunt, and won't hesitate to point out a flaw in somebody. Because of this, he is hard to get on with. However, he is clever, and knows a lot about the world, so can sometimes be an unlikely source of hope.
History: His owner was a medical lecturer at a university, and cared for him deeply. The two would often go on long walks together, and had a close bond. However, when he died suddenly without a will, Miles had nowhere to go. His owner's sister tried to look after him, but it didn't work out; she had three children who would mess with him, such as pull at his tail and sit on his back. During his time here, Miles changed, and began to snap at them. The last straw was when he slashed at the youngest, a five year old girl, and cut her cheek. He was given to a pound, but escaped, and wound up at the abandoned fairground, where he has since stayed.
Other: None right now.

Name: Star. Her real name is Starbucks as she was found outside one, but calls herself 'The Star'.
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Breed: Mongrel
Looks: Star has longish, light tan fur and green eyes with a mischievous glint in them. Her ears are pointed, and one curls over slightly. She is quite a small dog, and about thrity centimeters tall, with a curled over tail. Although her breed isn't known, she carries traits similar to a Papilion, Poodle, and Japanese Chin, among others.
Personality: Star has a massive ego, and because of this she's very cocky. Always referring to herself in the third person, she expects everybody to look up to her as if she was some sort of god. However, not many people do, as they find her annoying. However, some younger pups look up to her, believing all the lies she makes up about herself. She has a very quick sense of humor, and is also very brave and confident, due to her upbringing. Sometimes she can be a bit sassy as well.
History: As a young puppy, Star was left outside a Starbucks, which is where her name comes from. A coffee shop worker found her and looked after her for a bit, but she often went off by herself. One day she got lost, and couldn't find her way back home, so ended up sleeping on the streets. It was weeks before she found her home again, and when she did, she was met with a shock; her old owner had moved on and gotten a new dog. Annoyed, she ran away and made up a new personality, learning the ways of life on the street. Eventually she found the abandoned amusement park, and has lived there ever since.
Other: None

naмe: The name for this brute would be an uncommon one, but it's not that unusual. A few dogs have probably heard of others with the same name as him. This male doesn't particularly like, or hate his name. To him, it sounds boring, which makes him sound boring. He wants a name that makes him sound fierce and tough. What would this boring name be? Why it would be Sarik.

pronυncιaтιon: Only a few might not to be able to pronounce it if they just looked at it, because it's not really too hard. It's basically pronounced how it looks. S-air-ick. Sare-ick. Sarik.

gender: Sarik is most certainly a brute, and he's got the muscle that would make others definitely not mistake him otherwise. Even though he's not an overly large canine, he's still got some muscle.
.
.
.
.
.

Image
Image
age: Sarik hasn't been able to keep exact track of his age, but he knows his estimate is fairly close. He knows he is around 3.5 or 4 years, at the peak of his life. These are the years where his muscles are the strongest, his sight, hearing, and smell is the sharpest, and his looks are the best as well.

вeen ιn тнe parĸ ғor: Sarik has been in this park for about a year or so. Give or take a little bit. He enjoys this park to some degree, and plans to stay in it until the end. He will give his life to protect the fellow members of his amusement park pack and keep the members safe and sound. This pack is like his family, and he will let nothing hurt it. This pack is all he's got left in this world.

вreed: Sarik is a pure-bred GSD. German Shepherd.

ѕтray вecaυѕe: Sarik once had a loving and caring handler. But unfortunately, his handler died in war. When Sarik was sent back home to live with his handler's girlfriend, he didn't like it that much. She wasn't the same as he was, and she didn't really care for him. So she didn't mind when Sarik just, took off one day.

Image
perѕonalιтy: Sarik's personality is, well, all over the place. It most certainly does change from the time he first meets you to, say, a month or two after you've met him. When you first meet Sarik he seems cold and standoffish, anti-social. It would seem like he would be the one that the pups would avoid and the one that even adult canines would try to ignore and stay away from. But after he's warmed up to you, and you've warmed up to him, it will seem like he gained a friendly trait that he lacked before. He will be willing to play and rough house, goof around a bit. He will smile more often and even wag his tail. He seems to be a little bit charming as well, although he doesn't try to be. Sarik would do anything to protect the ones he is close with and loves, no one would ever see the light of day again if they laid a finger on a loved one. He is a very protective dog. Sarik will respect his elders and their word.. He won't hesitate to defend his pack's territory against intruders. He would be willing to die in a fight defending his pack's territory, then to feel ashamed of himself and give up. Sarik is quite smart for a canine. Is IQ is just above the mark for the average of other canines. He is good at planning things out, and creating traps. Strategizing is definitely one of his strong suits. Sarik is quite the serious german shepherd, and sometimes he will be on a short fuse. It's best to avoid him during these times, he'll be most likely to snap at the first thing you say that he doesn't agree with. He isn't one to take lead of situations right away, but he is a very capable leader if he is needed to be. When he was back in duty, he was the leader of the canine officers, they always followed him and his handler. He's always glad to have another leader though, he doesn't always like to have that leadership responsibility resting upon his shoulders.

нιѕтory: Sarik's history is very complicated. From early age he was trained as a military canine. Sarik did very well in training, in every part of it. Bomb and drug sniffing, tracking down suspects, and seizing suspects. However, search and locate was his favorite. Sarik was paired with his handler at a very early age, and their bond grew every day they were together. Sarik was only around one and a half, a youngster, when he first went over seas to a war. He did great over there. Him and his handler were hunting down suspects almost every other day. Sure, he would get a few scratches and wounds every couple days, but he didn't mind it. He knew that he had to be tough if he wanted to do this. Even when he would get slashed with a knife, or a bullet shot inches away from his head, he pushed through it. Then it all came down to one night. This was the largest raid he had ever down. Sarik was outfitted with his vest and waited to get going. The other military dogs trained in search and locate with suited up as well. They were hunting down a group of terrorists, known for being extremely dangerous and heavily armed. The building they had said to have been staying in was close, and tonight was the night they were taking it down all who was inside. It was time to go. Sarik's unit was ready to go, the time was now. He had been waiting for this moment for what seemed like forever, he had never done such a large raid. Sarik and another canine were in the lead. They would be the ones sent in first to locate the bad guys. They were approaching the door of the building. Sarik took the lead in front of the other canine and his handler released the leash. He stealthily made his way into the building, his nose to the ground. Scents were all over, and all fresh. However the strongest scents came from two rooms. He motioned his canine partner to one door, while Sarik sat in front of the other. Now the soldiers knew where the bad guys were. They threw tear gas into the rooms and sent the dogs in. Sarik was the first in his room, he locked onto a man standing up. He sped toward him and bit into his arm. The man cried out in pain. But Sarik didn't see the man next to him pull out a knife. All of a sudden the world faded black for a few seconds and he felt unbearable pain in his shoulder. The knife was dug into his shoulder down to the hilt. But Sarik didn't release his hold. He saw dogs and soldiers around him, falling for the last time as knives and bullets ripped through them. That only fueled his anger more. Sarik jumped up and tackled the man to the ground. He bit into his throat until the man seized to move. He quickly moved on the the nearest man towards him. He barreled him into the ground before latching onto his neck and holding until he didn't move. That was his strategy, tackle, bite, hold. Tackle, bite, hold. That was what Sarik would continue to do until all the enemies had fallen. When the tear gas had finally cleared Sarik could see the damage down. Blood was everywhere. Comrades and canines companions lay still on the floor. Enemies with their throats torn open and bullets through them lie dead. Sarik looked around for his master. Where was he? Sarik went into a panic mode, searching the whole building. None of the standing officers were him. He tore outside in desperation. His heart plummeted. His master wasn't outside either. Sarik shook his head, he must've just missed him inside. He was probably with the other officers. The canine reentered the building, set on finding his handler. Sarik went into a room that he had skipped before. The moment he set paw into the room he halted. There was his master. But he wasn't the way Sarik had hoped. His master was on the ground, lying in a pool of blood with a bullet hole through his skull. But at that moment, the adrenaline turned off and the pain turned on. The knife. The german shepherd hobbled over to his master, the pain excruciating. He whimpered quietly and lied down next to him. Sarik lied his head on his handlers chest and closed his eyes. After that, he blacked out and isn't sure what happened next. Sarik woke up in the medic room. His eyes darted around frantically. Maybe it had just been a dream. But no, his handler still wasn't there. His shoulder was stiff and hurt to move it, but at least the knife was gone. Sarik closed his eyes, before hearing his master's last words to him, "Go get 'em Sarik." The next time the dog woke up was in the airplane, on the way back home. He was in a crate, and the plane was landing. Once it had landed, Sarik's crate was pushed over to Jenny, his master's girlfriend. She was sobbing heavily. Sarik felt bad for her, he was in the same kind of pain. Once Sarik and Jenny got home, everything was fine for the first few weeks. But after that, she didn't pay much attention to Sarik and she had found a new boyfriend. She had moved on far too quickly for Sarik. On a Thursday night, when she let him out to go outside he bolted. She called his name once or twice, but after that she did nothing. Sarik wandered the streets for about a month or two before finding the park. This is his home now, and he plans on staying here for a bit.

вody deѕcrιpтιon: Sarik is averaged size for a male, if that even. Not any more, not any less. His dense coat makes him looked bigger than he actually is. His size definitely won't intimidate enemies, but that doesn't faze him. Of what size he does have is made up of basically muscle. Also, what he lacks in size, he can make up for in speed and agility. Sarik's legs are longer than an average males, which causes his speed and agility to go up. This can help him a fight because he would be able to swiftly swerve out of the way of an oncoming attack. You could call him somewhat burly. His legs are thick and strong, definitely not spindly like some other males. Even though he's just average for a male, he does have a lot of muscle. Sarik has a broad and wide chest, along with a good stamina.

coaт deѕcrιpтιon: Sarik's coat is very thick, in not just the hackles. Thick and dense fur can always be a helper in a fight, instead of tearing off a chunk of skin, they will probably just tear off a chunk of fur. Although painful, it's better than skin, right? It can be horrific in summer though, as he can get very hot under it. It's not long, but it's dense. There aren't too many colors in Sarik's coat. Mainly just tan and black. However his underbelly is a light creamish color. There are shades of brown and brownish-red woven into his coat as well. Unlike some males coats, his happens to be very luxurious and soft.. His coat just happens to be very silky to the touch, water will basically just slide off from it. Sarik doesn't necessarily like his coat being this plush and soft, he feels it makes him seem more feminine.

lιĸeѕ: Sarik enjoys a variety of things, although he may not seem like it. Some of the few things he enjoys are swimming, defending his pack, rough housing, hunting for rodents, and spending time with whom he loves. He enjoys swimming, because, well, he isn't really certain why he does. He likes the refreshing feel the water has against his coat and skin. Defending his pack is definitely one of his favorite things to do. He gets to fight, which is his passion, and he gets to keep his pack safe. He loves the feeling of keeping his pack safe, since he is so loyal to them for saving his life. Though he may not seem like it, Sarik actually does like to play and rough house with his pack mates. He likes the practice of fighting, and how he burns off some energy. Even though Sarik would seem like the type to never fall for someone, when he does, spending time with them will be his new hobby. Sarik likes hunting because he likes the adrenaline rush and the thrill. He likes to track down the prey.

dιѕlιĸeѕ: There are only a few things that Sarik does not like. Some of those things are, other brutes flirting with the fae whom he loves, losing a fight, the taste of fish, fish in general. The thing Sarik dislikes most is seeing brutes flirting with the fae he likes, even if him and the fae aren't in a relationship together. He's one who gets easily jealous. Scratch that, the thing he dislikes most is losing a fight. He is immensely competitive and hates the feeling of losing a fight. He will usually keep fighting until he blacks out, the enemy has surrendered, someone has forced the fight to break up, or he has perished. Sarik isn't a big fan of the taste of fish. To him, they taste bitter and just plain gross. He has a hard time understanding why others would eat them. He just plain hates fish in general. They're too slimy and slippery. To him, they're ugly little creatures with no brains. He also hates it when he messes up a hunt. Nothing is worse then finding a delectable squirrel and losing it because it ran in a hole.

.
.
.
.
.

Image
ѕтrengтнѕ: Despite his only average size, Sarik excels in fighting and protecting. He was born with the blood of a warrior and it comes naturally to him. He has many muscles with protrude and ripple under his skin when he is just walking, he is densely packed. He also has an excellent sense of smell. Because of his average size, he is a bit more agile and has a bit more speed than the larger males. He is quite the smart dog as well. His IQ is slightly above the average for canines. Sarik is also great at tracking.

weaĸneѕѕeѕ and ғearѕ: Sarik doesn't have too many fears, maybe only one or two. One thing he fears most is falling in love with a fae, then losing them due to him not being able to protect them. That is the thing that this brute fears the most, he would not be able to handle himself after that. Other than that, Sarik doesn't really have any fears. Although his sense of smell is great, his sight and hearing are just average, nothing spectacular. His average size isn't really a weakness, but it isn't a strength either. One of his weaknesses is definitely his right shoulder. Ever since he had gotten that knife in it during combat, a decent hit can cause some excruciating pain. It can also start bothering him if he runs for awhile.

.
.
.
.
.

Image
Image
crυѕн: At this moment in time,Sarik does not have a crush. He doesn't only go by the looks of the fae, like some brutes, but he goes by their personality too. He will never like a fae that is constantly mean to the others in the pack.

ѕecreт crυѕн: Sarik might have begun to take a slight interest in someone, but it's a secret. That's why it says secret crush, right?

мaтe: Sarik does not have a mate currently, nor has he ever had one. Even though he has never had a mate doesn't mean he doesn't want to have one. In reality, he would love to have a mate. He wants someone who he would protect and call his and only his.

pυpѕ: Sarik does not have any pups right now, but he would most certainly like to have some in the future. He has always dreamed about having little runts of his own.

wнaт нe looĸѕ ғor: Sarik doesn't have a certain 'type' of fae, like some other brutes do. He likes faes who have good personalities, and who are nice and caring to just about everybody. He won't want his mate to be one of those faes who can't take care of themselves though, he doesn't want spending time with his mate to be like he's pup sitting. He also doesn't want a fae as a mate who will go off still flirting with other brutes, even though they're mates. They can't be mean and cruel to everyone else in the pack as well, Sarik will ever fall for a harsh and bitter female. It also helps if the fae is at least a little good looking as well, but that doesn't effect his decisions much. Sarik wants a fae who will stop what shes doing and get her coat all dirty and rough house and play with him. He always has a soft spot for when faes will come up randomly to him and surprise him by tackling or glomping him.

        Image

        Name: Myra

        Age: 2 years

        Gender: female

        Breed: Kooikerhondje

Looks: Being rather lean and slender, Myra retains a delicate image that is emphasised by her soft, silky coat and long, plumed tail. Nevertheless, she is by no means weak as her shoulders and hindquarters are reasonably well-muscled, giving her speed and agility if not excessive strength. Her feather-soft, wavy fur is black and white except for her bright tan eyespots and cheeks. Myra has an open, friendly face with dark brown eyes that convey her sweet disposition and irresistible puppy eyes.

Personality: Fun-loving and sociable, Myra' s frequent enthusiastic, childish actions belie her intelligent, brave interior. She is very attuned to the feelings of those around her, and her ability to relate to others makes her charismatic despite her young age. Despite her open, cheerful personality, Myra has a terrible temper if angered and can be impulsive, jumping into things without a thought for herself. If riled, she can be rude and hostile, regardless of who she is speaking to. Independent and idealistic, she is at the age where her rebellious streak is just starting to show, and she dislikes being ordered around or mothered. Her occasional insecurity can also cause her to be condescending to those she dislikes.

However, Myra also hates fighting, preferring instead to find a peaceful solution to conflict. She is very conscious of her relatively small size and inexperience. If forced into a confrontation, she mostly limits herself to outward shows of aggression like growling and snapping, and will try to escape before the fight escalates. She is relatively quick and silence on her paws, with an uncanny ability to weave through crowds without hindrance, making her an effective tracker or scout. Being young and inexperienced with relationships, Myra also has a huge weakness for handsome young dogs.

History: Bred by a dedicated breeder of Kooikerhondjes, Myra was left abandoned on the streets when she was barely four months old, simply because she did not meet the breed standard. Taken in and cared for by an old dog by the name of Kayla, Myra grew and thrived, learning how to fend for herself and find food as a stray. After Kayla fell ill one winter and passed away, Myra left the town she grew up in, eventually finding the abandoned amusement park and making it her new home.

Once loved, but now lost. Yeah, I had a family once, two humans who raised me from a pup, their kid Maddie, and Lulu my best friend. I couldn't have wanted anything more. Lulu and me, we had the live; tons of room to run and the best family ever. Our humans always had time for us, and took the time to walk us daily and play fetch out back. Let's not forget about those treats and yummy bones. Maddie, where can I even start with that kid. He was a great kid, who really cared about his pets and enjoyed holding my leash on our walks. He was a great little boy. I would sleep on his bed at night and watch over Lulu and him. Lulu, let's just say she could be a nutcase and a half, we rescued her from a shelther when I was three years old. Don't get me wrong, I loved Lulu to death and would take any pain or blame for her. But that's what she caused me most of the time.

I thought they would believe me forever, but I guess not. When I was eight years old, Lulu and myself where running loose behind the house when an older man strolled across the yard. I won't lie, I barked and thought about chasing him down. But I stood still and watched as my best friend run at the man. She jumped on him, pulling him to the grass as she bit at his arms. I begged for her to stop and soon ran over to her barking in her ear. The man screamed and begged for help, as I barked like a crazy man. My owners appeared quick after, and pulled Lulu from the man. I could tell he was hurt, but nothing that bad. I stood at my master's side as he helped the man up.

Later that night, I found myself locked in a jail like place with Lulu. I wanted so badly to be home again with my family, and barked for them to come get me. Sadly, they never did come. The next morning Lulu was taken from me, and I never was to see her again either. For days I was alone in the pen with just a bowl of food and water, and a old gross bed. One day though, a young lady came and took me from the pen. She allowed me to walk on a leash outside, and gave me a few treats. I remember her saying I was a good boy, and she wouldn't let me die in here. Me being the dog I was believed her. I was returned to the pen again though. Not three days later she returned and I left for good this time. She was a nice lady, but I wanted Maddie back. The first chance I got I ran away from the lady and headed for home. I never did find it though...

bumping ^^
i've changed the rules so you can have more characters if you want. i've also gotten rid of the maximum ten dogs overall rule, so feel free to add dogs etc.
anyway, if nobody reserves anything etc. soon, i'll just start. you can join/add characters after that as well.
