~|Zinniapaw|She-Cat| Medicine Cat Apprentice| Mentor: None|Dawn Clan Camp|~
The small apprentice continued to sort through the herbs whilst her mentor was away, deciding whether they could still be used, or had to be replaced. "Borage," The She-Cat murmured as she pulled out a bundle of leaves, and it's roots. "Borage should never be used dry, only green." As she repeated her mentor's words, it was as if she could hear (her/his) telling her so in her head. "Leaves and roots can be used for fevers. The leaves are also good fo a queen to help keep up her suply of milk. Seeds work to." Zinniapaw had decided moons ago that it would hepl her to learn better if she listed the name of each herb, and use as she restocked them. She had hoped that it would help her remember what they looked like, and when she needed to use them in the future. I need to get some new leaves, she told herself, and some seeds, if posible.
the She-Cat put the roots back in ir's crack on the wall, along with any salvagable leaves. The Medicine Cat's den was to Zinniapaw, beautiful. It was as if Star Clan had put it there themselves. Along the large, back wall, small chunks of rock were missing. Each was about the size of her paw, and stretched back twice that far. The whole was duplicated all over the wall, in long, neat rows. Zinniapaw had guessed that her ancestors had cut it out moons ago. It was too practical, and neat to be the work of nature. A thin wall stood a fox length in front of the herb wall, and opened in the center so that a cat could walk through. Behind that wall, in front of the Herb Wall and shielded from the eyes of outside cats, lay two shallow holes. Both were lined with feathers and moss. To the left lay hre mentors, and the right was hers. There was just enough room for a large cat to curl up in between the Herb Wall and the half wall. Zinniapaw was found of her nest, easily fitting in since she was still small. Past the half wall stood a hole in the roof of the den. During the night the moonlight would pool through the gap, and cover the den with it's radiant glow. During the day, enough light filed throughto light up each corner of the den. On the ground below the hole, a shollow hole was visible. It wasn't as deep as her nest's, though it did it's job perfectly. When it rained, water would drip through the moonlight whole, and landed in the ready space. This was the time Zinniapaw enjoyed the most, the time she felt most intune with Star Clan. To either side of the of the small pool lay two beds, on either side pressed up against the wall, ready for any sick cats. Zinniapaw picked up her small pile of old Borage leaves and padded out the entrance, which lay a fox length in front of the sick cat's beds. Quickly she took in the scenes of the camp, and then swiftly padded just out the exit. She dug a small hole to bury the leaves in, and then scuttle back inside the barrier, and sat in front of the Medicine Cat's Den; her tail wrapped neatly around her paws.

~|Paintedhope|She-Cat|Warrior| Apprentice: None|The border between Dawn Clan|~
Paintedhope lead a patrol consistent of Sunfish and others along the border with Dawn Clan. Carefully she rubbed herself up against any landmarks in order to leave her Clan's scent behind, and then moved forward, watching carefully for a Dawn Clan patrol. Paintedhope felt uneasy about the border, convinced that they had been too quiet lately. Dawn Clan had never been the ferocious type, though they were sneaky, and that made her pelt crawl even more. The last thing she wanted was to fit a Clan with wit.

Twilight Clan's territory was laced completely with trees, blocking out the harsh sun, and shielding the cats below. This, and her growling stomach, were the only reasons why Blackbird had even contemplating venturing out of camp. Her stomach pressed so close to the ground that she could feel her belly fur dragging over the leaves that covered the forest floor. The sent of a vole filled her nostrils, and ever so quietly did she creep forward. She waited until she was only a tail length behind until she sprang forward, landed on top of it, and bit swiftly into it's neck. Engrossed by her own amount of hunger, Blackbird decided to settle down and eat it. Once she had done so, she continued onward, hunting for the rest of her clan.

The two apprentices continued to roll, toppling over one another with great strength, practising the very same skills they had learnt in their training. "Get off of me!!" The fierce, orange figure growled at his brother as he was pinned to the ground. "Not until she give up..." Came his reply, more calm then most cats thought possible. "I would do it if you asked me to!" He spat, "Nonsense,"came a new voice, normally soft, though now rough with a stern sense on amusement. "Firepaw, you would do no such thing..." She murmured with a sigh, though making sure that her voice would be heard. Angered by his sister's laughter, and having convinced himself that he would, Firepaw hissed, and patted at Rootpaw's soft underbelly with sheathed paws, hoping that his strength would push him off. Rootpaw stumbled to the side, and just as he managed to re-gain his balance, Firepaw was already back on his paws, springing himself towards his brother. Rootpaw landed with a thud on the cool earth, a soft grunt escape his maw. Russetpaw's eyes glinted with amusement, and she let out a mrrow of laughter, "Oh Rootpaw, how the tables have turned..."
