When Summer snapped at Dameer, the chestnut stallion stopped in his tracks, surprised. He looked over at Ghost, wondering how he would react to the mare's retort. Beginning to gaze at Secret, waiting for someone's reply, Venom forgot about the rest of the world. The stallion smiled.

Secret sensed mares coming.She wouldn`t allow anyone to even see her,Or sense her.Having already began to foal,She got up.She refused to let the pain distract her,And ran farther.When she was about 6 hours away,She laid down.The pain had decreased,And was slowly rising.She had gone into labor.When no horse was sure to be around....She foaled.The next morning,She nuzzled her painted filly.She cleaned her up."Native Dancer."She whisperd.When the filly got up,Nursed,and walked,They where heading back.Hoping that Rude older mare with the colt,Hadn`t followed.Secret didn`t know why she dispsed the mare so much,She just did...

Indian Summer|| Summer sighed as Secret vanished, knowing that she had spooked the other mare. The bay and white mare continued her trek behind Secret, but decided to rest once darkness began to fall. Summer knew that Secret was probably two or more hours away from the herd than she was, so the Paint decided to meet up with the other mare on the way back.

As she never really gotten along with other mares,She decided to take a short,More private way back.She cantered slowly into a clearing,Avoiding any horse by giving a warning kick.She raised her nose into the air,Taking in the scents...Nothing.After two hours of traveling,She was back at the herd......And mad at Ghost.She cantered up to him,Losing her temper."How dare you send a mare out to watch over me!That just PROVES you don`t respect a mares` Privacy~"She snapped.She had more,inappropriate things to say,But would not say them with her filly there."Come on Dancer,We are leaving."She said.She nuzzled her Pintabian Filly,And nudged her the opposite way."Goodbye Venom."She said sadly.When she didn`t see the older mare,She knew who it was.

Ghost pinned his ears at the mare's insolence. He snorted, and flicked his tail with a warning touch, snaking his neck at her. He didn't tolerate such insubordination from a mare. He was generally a gentle natured stallion, but when he was disrespected as a leader he didn't tolerate it.
"Privacy has nothing to do with it. She didn't intrude on your personal space at all, she was making sure you were safe, which is my right to protect my herd."
If she wanted to leave, that was her prerogative. And he wouldn't stop her. He had the rest of his herd to keep safe, those who actually appreciated him as a stallion.

Dameer Sighed.Her ears pinned,Knowing she had to take care of Her baby sister.She took off in a full speed canter,Catching up with the 4 year old mare."Come on Secrets!Stay!I told him he should have left you,and he listened,It was the Butt-head of a Mare!"She said.She nipped her baby sister,and stood infront.The buckskin mare,Dameer,Stood a few inches taller,And wouldn`t take no for an answer.

"Would you rather I have stayed myself? I sent a mare for the discretion, they were nowhere near, just patrolling the border so you would be safe. I would not have left any mare of mine vulnerable for predatory attack, which could have very well happened as you were in no state to defend yourself. You had your clearing and your privacy and I had my piece of mind."
He stamped a foot impatiently, his ears still pinned flat. His blue eyes were ice cold as he glared at the mare.

Dameer Shot Ghost a warning look.She wouldn`t tolerate a fight between the older stallion,And the filly.She nuzzled her sister,And exchanged a silent descision.The two reared,Nipping each other`s necks,And the two walked past Ghost,Into the meadow,Dancer following.

Indian Summer|| Several hours later, Summer returned to the herd. Alone. Her head hung in disappointment. She had failed. When she caught sight of the two mares and foal leaving, Summer stopped in her tracks. She shot Ghost a confused glance and couldn't help but wonder what she had missed.

Geronimo|| The young grulla was upset about the mares' departure, to say the least. However, he knew that he was powerless to stop them. Whatever decision Ghost made was final, and Geronimo wasn't too keen on picking a fight with his adoptive father.

"What? No, You can't leave!" Venom said, cantering after Secret, and standing in her way. He glanced down at the little foal, an excuse popping in his head. "You just had a foal! It's too dangerous out there! Wolves, cougars, we can fight them off easier in a herd!" The stallion said, standing tall. He was tall for his age, but he knew he wouldn't get much taller..
"You just got here.." Venom muttered, his head sinking.
