Skylar grabbed Cookie and ran off to hide in a small hole by a tree that no one could see.

" Whats goin on" whispered cookie , she hadnt heard because of the water in her ears

"I think theere are hunters here." she said softly and looked out the cave. She grabbed Cookie and ran back to camp and placed her on the floor. "Get back to your den sweetie." she said softly and looked around.

Clover walked into the den and prepared the trout for dinner.

Skylar slowly walked around. She found the hunter and growled at him. He pointed the gun at her then pulled the trigger. Nothing happened/ "Dang it out of ammo." he said and grabbed more bullets. Skylar gasped then jumped on him and tore him up before hounds grabbed her and fought her.

Clover heard something else and suddenly a bunch of hounds came running in after a defensless fox. Clover did not want to harm the fox so helped it fight off the dogs . The fox got out and ran away leaving clover pinned to the floor getting bitten to death

Skylar ran over to Cookie and surrounded her to protect the pup.

"I may be only small but that doesnt mean i cant fight ". then as quick as a flash the fox apeared with the rest of his family. the hounds ran for thier lives
