The Life Of A Jewel Maned Dragon

{I apologize for not being active on here. I haven't had a lot of tome to get online until recently, sadly but my life is settling down again, so I think I have enough time for a little while to be here. Anyone want to RP with my jewelie, Melane? :3}

The yellow and peach furred jewel mane dragon sat nestled in the forest out of town, saddened at where her new friend, Spectrum, had disappeared to. Though her friend, the soft ball of glowing light had calmed her more, not even speaking, just being near helped her feel more at ease, as well as the forest. She knew where almost every branch lie, each root that come about the ground, each rock that jetted out from the land. She found solace in the place, her favorite. Even though she could not see, as she was fully blind, she could imagine how her favorite spot looked right now, calm and gentle, a soothing place she could confide in.

Iris smiled. "Nice to meet you too," taking a quick glane at his markings she decided to make a topic so thing won't get awkward. "So, uh, do you like baking? It's just because of your fur... You know,"

"Good." Knight smiled. "We're almost there. Just a bit farther." Knight continued on, picking up her pace even more.

"I understand. But I don't, actually." Cobalt smiled at the question, for this was not the first time he had been asked that. "I get that a lot. My parents actually say that I look like Cookie Monster. It helped me make friends when I was little."Cobalt chuckled.

"I'm not exactly sure." Knight said, turning the corner. "I guess....I've just always been around it." She finished. They were reaching the restaurant as she was finishing up her sentence. "I'll elaborate more once we're seated." Knight said with a smile.

"Aw, I'm sorry about that." Cobalt told Iris. "I was always the shy kid at school." He shuffled his paws a bit as his head sank down. "At least, until my mom went and found other shy JMD's for me to play with." Cobalt looked back up at Iris while still shuffling his paws a bit.
