My eyes blinked awake. The world was bright. The leaves shown green and sun shined above. Wait.... I could.... But... Wasn't I blind? Where am I!? I think, half paniced. I get up and race through the forest, looking around. I wasn't used to seeing! "Rivershade, Stop!" "Stop, stop, stop... The voice echos through the forest. I come to a halt, panting. I look around urgently. My pelt is oddly smooth. Silky and clean. It seems to be shimmering with.... Stars! I'm in... The blurred image of my furious sister flashed to my mind. My final memory. "Let go of my brother!!!" The voice rings through my head, never stopping. I clench my eyes closed, nearing tears. Eaglewing... I think sadly. A tear falls down. From my eye, rolling down my cheek, and dropping to the ground at my paws. All of a sudden, a soft pelt brushes my flank. A turn to see a young, beautiful tortoiseshell brushing her long-furred tail over me. "I'm sorry." She wispered, her soft green eyes meeting mine. "Wait, Spottedleaf." A firie orange tom stepped out from the bushes. The tom padded up to me. "I am Firestar. Previous leader of Thunderclan." He told me. "Well, I just want to go back!!" I exclaimed sadly. Firestar raised his tail, and I silenced myself. "You may, Rivershade." He mewed. "As soon as you'r body is prepared." The she cat, Spottedleaf, piped up. "Well, when will that be?" I asked urgently. "Soon, soon. But, you may watch over you'r sister..." As Firestar said the words, they seemed to teleport to the medicine den. Eaglewing appeared before me, franticly trying to get the medicine cat's attention. Tears flowed down her eyes. "Eaglewing, I'm here!" Imewed to her, trying to calm her down. She really looks like that? I thought, astonished at her dark, flowing pelt. "Eaglewing, I'm fine!" I tried again to get her attention. Firestar flicked his tail down at something, I followed his gaze. My eyes widened as I saw.... Me! My fur was scruffy and rugged, my pelt ugly and grey, my coat stained and covered in blood. I looked back up to the grimicing Starclan cats. "Surly, you can return soon..." Spottedleaf mewed to him. "Well, we'll be going now. If you return, good. If you can't you may... Join us..." Firestar told me before disapearing completly. I sat and waited... And waited.... And waiting. I watched Eaglewing leave, and I watched Leafbreeze work on me until.... Effortlessly, I was absorbed back into my body....

Nightmare took a few steps back as she came closer. "Give me a single reason to trust you, and I'll come with you" she meowed back and closed her eyes, remembering old memories. All she could hear are shouthings and all she could see is blood. She opened her eyes witha gasp.
