Quaint nodded rubbing his face. I'm too old for this. He laughed bending down to pick up his watch. However strangely he felt this wasn't the last he'd see of the beast, yet he shrugged it off.

'You don't look that old Vesta remarked, as Ametye lifted himself into the air and circled above them like an eagle circling prey.

Quaint plucked the watch off the ground as if it was something poisonous. Who'd wanna feel and look old?

''I dunno' Vesta sighed and looked at the sky, 'We better get going, it'll be lights out back at the dorms soon' She looked to Ametye who settled back down on the ground, leaving gouges in the dirt and leaves from his claws.

Oh yes, I forgot I was a teacher...Of sorts. He tucked his watch in his jacket and padded up to Ametye. May I board O' mighty dragon? He asked with a hint of amusement.

'No need to ask Mister Quaint, you are worthy' Ametye knelt closer to the ground, before flopping onto his belly with a grunt. Vesta laughed a little and walked up to Ametye, scratching under his scales, totally oblivious to the conversation between Ametye and Quaint.

Alice started back towards the dorms. It would be dark soon.

Quaint bowed his head. Thank you kindly. He climbed the dragon's foreleg easily.

Vesta followed after Quaint, "Hurry up!" She whined. Ametye laughed deep in his throat, finding it rather funny Vesta was so impatient.
