I only have the third one, and it seems to be something of a combination. It also has the occasional comedy scene.

Guys, I noticed something in the followup. Derpy is there about 6 or seven times in the same ending scene. And, look at this:

I think this was a wink to the fandom that she's not going anywhere, and trust Derpy to wink by putting her face down to the ground to find us. And notice how she totally broke the fourth wall there. That's Pinkie Pie's job, but I'm sure she won't mind sharing with Discord and Derpy, will she?

That totally needs to become my avatar now. Yus, my dear Derpy <3 Totally a fandom wink.

Most likely considering how long she has stuck around.
