Wintersky yawned and said, "I love you." She smiled at him.

"I love you too," Jackdaw's Cry replied, his smile widening and his purr growing even louder.

Wintersky smiled softly and nuzzled him.

Wintersky sniffed the air and wriggled her nose, "Do you smell that? What is that?"

Jackdaw's Cry frowned, smelling smoke. He lifted his muzzle to the air, smoke meeting it. "Smoke?" He looked puzzled.

[East.]

Wintersky mewed, "Is that what it is?" She got up and stepped out of the entrance, she saw a red-orange light in the distance and yelped, then ran back, "FIRE!"
Silverstar looked out of her den, "What?"
Wintersky yelped, "There's a fire!" She almost squeaked.
The kits poked they're heads out of the nursery, "Cool! A fire!" They said at the same time.
Silverstar screeched, "Everyone! Leave! Grab the kits!"
