night - nope, you're good :>
it's only a spoiler if you tell everyone something major that happens in it (like a main character dying) or outline the whole plot.
the host is on my reading list, and from the trailers of the film it looks like it'll be something that i'm interested in.
and apparently it's a lot better than twilight, which makes it more appealing as well. x3

It has to be one of my favorite books. It is the only book like itself, One of a kind. If you haven't read it, read it. If you dont like sci-fi, read it any way. If you hate the genre it is in, give it a try. Thats what I would say to anyone. And It is noting like the twilight series. I agree, it is very appealing

I'm going to PM a book suggestion form for The Host. I think, considering a few people are saying they are going to read it, its a good idea. Just saying so no-one sends another form for it, just encase!

Sorry guys. I looked up the synopsis online and that was the most voted for result. I thought that we should vote for what book we want to pick as the recommeded book and that's why I posted that. If we don't wanna know what happens in the story we shouldn't ask for a synopsis.

it's fine, maybe iri just assumed that people wouldn't post the whole plot when recommending a book.
but it was an honest mistake, and i see you've deleted it anyway (although the message you've replaced it with could be seen as rude - i do know what a summary is. duh.) so maybe not many people saw it and it could still be read, if it's chosen. c:
if you still want to suggest it, just pm your form to iri.

We do vote for what book we pick. As it says, quite clearly, on the front page. I wouldn't want to choose the book for everyone because that would be unfair. It's just easier to pm the suggestions to me so I can put them on the front page and then put up a poll instead of people having to search through all the pages to find the form. It also says to pm the form to me anyway. And as holmes said I didn't think people would put the whole plot of the book because that kind of takes away the point of reading it. Plus, on the suggestion form, it does state (after synopsis:) that the blurb is to go there. A blurb is what you find on the back of the book. You've deleted the post now though and it's fine, as I said in the pm you can still recommend the book.
everyone ;; Today is the last day that you can suggest a book. At some point this evening - GMT time - all of the suggested book forms will go up on the front page. A poll will also be put up and there you can vote, once, for the book you would like the club to look at. Please be aware that reading it isn't compulsory but we will be talking about it, those who choose to read it, and therefore it might be a good idea to do so yourself. Discussion about other books is always welcome, even when looking at a chosen book. Just remember to alert for spoilers. So you have almost a whole day to suggest a book before the poll goes up. I'm looking forwards to some suggestions c;
