Why you love to read: Reading lets me enter the author's world, and if it's imagination-filled and with cliffhangers that leave you hanging onto every word, you can bet it's going on my favourite list! It also allows me to escape when I'm depressed or angry. Books are my life. I could never live without them<3
Why you joined: I joined because, like many of you, I love books. No, more than that. I'm in love with books. Nothing makes me happier than reading a good book, or being with other book lovers.

shay - i haven't read the host, but i've heard it's supposed to be good. :'D

raven - ... um, after reading the synopsis, you've basically told us the whole plot, so i wouldn't really see the point in reading the book. |D
maybe next time just post the blurb or something, because telling us all of that makes reading the book ourselves quite a lot duller.

I've read the host!
It was brilliant! The main female Wanda is much better then Bella, personally I think. More original plot line with more things going on too, it really makes you think and feel for Wanda. Plus, unlike Twilight, The whole plot line isn't based upon her unrealistically. It is quite realistic, if you ignore the sci-fi/fantasy genre. The first time I read it I cried. It controls your emotions well; I have only cried three times from movies or books. The Titanic and Marley and Me. The movie is coming out in a few months can not wait for that. I highly recommend it. In fact, i'm going to see if she is writing a second book on her website now...
