I'm MelonPan, but you can call me Melon or MP, for short. As you can see by my number of posts, I just recently joined CS. However, worry not! I've role-played before, so I know how the system works. I live in Pacific Standard Time, and won't be on from the hours of 12 am to 5 pm on weekdays, for I have school in the morning and homework afterwards. I'm very lenient on what you post, as long as it reaches my minimum of expectations. Keep in mind that I usually just mirror what my partner posts. If you post 6 sentences, I'll do the same. If you post 8 paragraphs, I'll do the same. I'm female, but I'm able to play male characters as well.

What you can expect (literary wise):
[size=85]- semi-lit to lit; I can do 5 sentences up to 6+ paragraphs (depending on how much material you give me to work with)
- material that you can reply to
- a post at least once every two days
- a wide variety of characters
- good grammar
- good spelling
- originality

What I'm looking for (literary wise):
- minimum of 4 sentences
- capitalization and punctuation
- a post at least once every two days

[PS. For anime, I prefer doing non-canon. By that, I mean without the characters and plot for the actual story. For example, a Soul Eater role play would be an "alternative universe" where the characters from the actual story don't exist (Maka, Soul, etc), but the concept of Death Weapon Meister Academy is still a thing.]

Hello, all! It's been a long time since I've advertised here, but heck, why not?

I'm in love with Les Miserables, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a role play taken off of that or in that time period? We could discuss the details in pms.

I'm also obsessed with Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks. I was wondering if anyone else ever dreamed of actually meeting our favorite characters, like Ariel and Jack Frost and Pocahontas. Well, my idea was to be transported to their "world," a world of beautiful 3D animation and though we are ourselves, we would meet them and become everyone's friend, travel from kingdom to kingdom, go on adventures, etc. Again, details we can discuss through messages. ^^

I can play either gender, I'm so active it's embarrassing, and I'm very literate, but on a bad day expect only a few paragraphs. On a good day more like three pages....I have a problem, I know.

Pretty much all I'm looking for right now is a onexone Walking Dead RP, or just a zombie apocalypse-type RP in general. I'm just gonna make this advert short and snappy; I'm a high semi literate roleplayer, and I usually post about three or four lengthy [ten sentenced++] paragraphs per RP post. I can play either gender, live in EST time zone, and I'm usually on for about two hours on the weekdays, much more during the weekend. I will play over PM or thread. I only play heterosexual relationships, and I like to be some romance involved in most RP's.

Hello, as you can see, my username is zippyzoo77, however, people tend to shorten that to zippy, so I will answer willingly to either. I can usually make it on during the weekends, but lately I've been not being able to get on as often as I would like. I never leave roleplays without giving a reason for doing so, so if you find that I am not responding in a reasonable amount of time, please PM me, since I probably just forgot to respond. Anyways, I am a semi-literate roleplayer, and I expect of you exactly what I expect of myself. I only play straight characters myself, however I don't care what the sexuality of your characters is unless it is a romance roleplay, at which point characters in the romance will have to be straight as well. I will not be playing any canon or real life characters, and would prefer if you would do the same. I have no opinion either way on whether pictures should be anime or real, and if they are real, I don't care if they come from a celebrity or not so long as they are CS appropriate. It is worth noting that I tend to avoid heavy romance roleplays, since I am terribly awkward at roleplaying it, and frankly I prefer other subjects.

• Plays multiple characters.
• Plays both girls and boys.
• Always posts at least four(4) lines of text, however will range into much longer posts (up to nearly 1000 words, or several decent paragraphs) with more muse.
• Will always be polite.
• Comes up with plot ideas.
• Will warn before any long term absenses.
• Does not abandon without first informing the other roleplayer that they are doing so.
• Good grammar and spelling. (Is forgiving for occasional typos.)
• Roleplays on the forums.

• Everything on the list of what I expect of myself.

• Science Fiction of nearly any sort. (Make a suggestion, original ideas, or book/show based are both good.)
• Mideval. (With or without magical creatures.)
• Fantasy. (Present or past time periods only. Other wise it's sci-fi. Which I also love, but is different.)
• Adventure. (Pretty much a must in any roleplay of mine.)
• Cop. (Either similar to Mentalist or Person of Interest.)
• Based off of a book or television show that I have seen/read. (Please make a suggestion.)
• Runaways (Preferably not kids.)
• Things not on the will not do list. (Not everything is listed in either, feel free to make any suggestion you please. I may or may not accept suggestions, but again, I will always be polite in denying a suggestion, so don't be afraid to ask.)
• TV show/movie or Book based, if I've seen it. I will only do OCs for these. (TV show preferences: Stargate, Star Trek, Person of Interest, The Mentalist, Doctor Who, Revolution, Fringe(would love this one!), Falling Skies, and more, just ask. Books: Dragonriders of Pern (Any of them. First, Sixth, or Ninth pass are prefered. This is the only exception to the non-straight romance rule.), Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce (any of the settings.), and more, just ask.)

• Real life (celebrities, or roleplays with characters from them.)
• Anime based (I don't watch them. I'm fine with you using them as picture in other kinds of roleplays, this it soley topic based.)
• Purely romance (MUST contain other things. I'm fine with small bits, but it isn't the main point.)
• Non-Straight romance (I don't feel comfortable roleplaying it, I support the people who aren't straight, this doesn't mean that I have to roleplay it. Non-straight characters are fine by me, just be aware that if your characters aren't straight, then it will not be a romance roleplay. In fact, if you want to play two of your own characters in a non-straight romance, then go for it, just don't make the romance the main point. Conversely, just because your characters are straight doesn't mean there will be romance.)
• Twilight type fantasy. (Werewolves are not in control of themselves, and vampires are dracula like.)
• Seasonal. (I want the roleplay to have a season, I just don't want the season to dictate everything the characters do.)
• Cannon characters. (I perfer not to use other people's characters. Similarities to specific characters are fine, but I don't like cannon characters as a general rule.)

Exceptions: (ONLY for the listed things. Nothing else. These are also my two most wanted roleplays at the moment. Go figure.)

• Stargate Universe: I am totally craving one of these right now. It is an exception in the matter that this is the only type of roleplay where I would love to play cannon characters. Specifically Rush, Eli, Chloe, and Brody.
• Pern (Weyr based only): I would also totally love one of these, second only to the SGU one mentioned above. This would be an exception to the non-straight romance rule, since blues (or browns) mate with greens, but the vast majority of their riders are all male. Bronze/Gold pairings would of course still be straight.

Hello, I am Girl with One Eye and I am craving a new role play. I have been role playing for a bit more than two years now and I like to think of myself as pretty literate. I prefer role plays that are about 20 to 50 line long. I really like a wide variety of role plays and I am open to many different types. I think I do my best writing with fantasy. I do have to focus on my school for most of the week, but overall I am pretty good with posting consistently and if I know I won't be posting for a few days I will be able to tell you. I try and make a new character for each of my role plays, so you can always expect something new from me.
At the moment I am looking for more a fun role play, lately I have been in really dramatic ones and though I love it I really want something more laid back. I also think a fandom of a book or something may be fun. I am okay with romance, but I don't like it being the main focus of the role play. Well, I'm Kamikaze. Pronounced COMMA - COZI. I prefer to be called 'Kam' or 'Kami'. Anyway, I consider myself a low-medium semi lit roleplayer. I mirror post, so if you write me three paragraphs I will do my best to write around that much. I also have good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do expect occasional typos though. I'm a little awkward at first with my characters, and also with romance since I'm not sure where my partners comfort zones are. Anyway, after you roleplay with me for a little bit I start to warm up. I normally don't talk OOC unless I need to rant, or would like to share something with you. Please don't take it personally, I just normally get too engrossed in the roleplay. I only roleplay males to as of now, and I write in first person. I also only roleplay through forum, and my time zone is Eastern Standard Time.
