This is the seventh post of the Character Adoption Addicts Anonymous! It's amazing to look back at how far we've prospered in just a few months. ;u; However, with the ever-growing population, I do see a few older members beginning to feel left out of the discussion. Please, feel free to bud in any time. Each time you post something, just be sure that it has a point. Our club is for anyone wishing to join that loves to own, make, and create characters! Don't be shy. If you ever have a concern or suggestion, my inbox is always ready for a few new messages. c:
To keep peace and order, please read the revised rules:
- You will listen to the amazing and all-powerful Wes /ohwaitthat'sme, and all of my little mini-mods [my minions obviously. xP] But really guys, you should know better. Don't argue with them, don't do anything stupid to cause problems. I trust you all on this one.
- Don't spam. Limited talk of DeviantArt, other artists, etc. is acceptable, but any sort of deep discussion about anything not directly related to characters is unacceptable and will be rebuked. ;u; One-word posts are beginning to get on everyone's nerves. Please, elaborate on what you wish to say. No one word posts.
- Feel free to ask questions by any means! This isn't spam. (: Ask why people like their favorite character; if they look for anything specific in a character, or anything else you want to know. It makes the thread more interesting! ^^ Limit the "what's your favorite piece of art?" questions, please. They begin to fall a bit repetitive.
- When looking to sell a character, name a character, or anything of the likes, please wait for five pages before reposting your offer or request.
- No whining.
- When quoting image heavy posts, don't re-post the entire post. Please remove images that you are not directly discussing and/or remove all images and give some other context. You will start to receive warnings on this as of now. Going along with this, if your post includes any pictures so large that they exceed the width of the CS post layouts, please post the image as a link instead. Also, when posting more than 10 images in one post, please post them as links.
- You must credit artists when you show off art or designs, unless the artist wishes otherwise. A simple link to a deviantArt/CS profile page, a name, or a shop link will do. c:
- All deals for characters are to be taken to PM.
- No contest ads/posts where that is the only thing in the post. Please have some point of relevance when posting an ad. Like a casual slip in rather than an actual post. Like 'Oh by the way guys, if any of you would like to enter my contest, here is a link.' Same with requested crit of forms, as that is really to be sorted at the thread of adoption/through PM.
- You may no longer advertise character design shops or art shops on the CAAA. All free art and art orders are to be sorted out through PM as usual. If you'd like your character design or art shop to be advertised here, PM ki-neko animura so she can add it to her post for you. You may, however, advertise older characters, single character batches, and specific one-time-only offers of or requests for art. When requesting characters, please name a specific species, theme, or design that you're looking for.
- You may no longer request art on the thread, even if you plan to offer payment, unless you are asking for commissions of a particularly difficult design or a unique species that you're unlikely to be able to get art for anywhere else.
- We will begin handing out warnings as of now, and a small suspension comes out of having 3 warnings. I won't begin handing out warnings concerning the two newest rules yet, because there is still some confusion about them. After 2 weeks, however, the new warning system will apply to the new rules as well. Warnings will be private, not public, and will be tracked by miss diesel and myself.
