Serena was gazing around the garden as they walked, but was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts as she noticed Alexander and Crystal. Before she could even realize what was going on she was pulled behind the rose bush. Her gaze flickered to Kaleb for a moment, not knowing how to react. She knew the relation between her and KC had been improper since she had been engaged to Zerrick, but a relationship between a prince and a maid... That was even worse. Serena sighed softly as she gently pulled KC a bit towards her, but only because she noticed thorns were pushing against his shoulder.

Arabella followed him, dropping her bow and shrugging off her quiver. She hadn't noticed yet that her hand had been cut, not badly, but enough to bleed. She had however, noticed the blood all over Patch. She knelt beside him and moved slowly. "Where did you get cut?" she asked looking at his shirt. "And don't try to say you're fine. I can see that you're not."

Patch winced. He smirked at her "M-my hip". He ran a hand through her hair, and his eyes narrowed, he coughed a bit and looked up at her. "Take the horse back to the house, tell them i need a doctor and im hurt. I wont die i promise". He took her hand "I'll stay alive for you, now go before they come back" he said, he didn't want her to worry or reject, he knew and she knew he needed medical attention. He saw her hand "Wait", he sat up a bit and leaned against a pole that was part of a bridge, he ripped some of his shirt that was clean and wrapped it around her hand.

Tristan cocked his head, trying to figure out who she meant. "Do I know him?" Maybe this could help distract him for a while. It seemed to be working. He made a quick mental list of men that he knew not to be very nice. There was Alexander, but he was her brother.. Maybe she preferred the other sex? Thinking about it made him recoil slightly, subtly shifting an inch away from the princess on the bench.

The prince didn't resist when his fiance pulled him closer to her. The thickly knotted bush hid them well, and he had a feeling that the couple near the lake was too engrossed to notice them anyway. He dropped Rena's hand, only to run it quickly through his hair. He did this when he was agitated. Alexander and.. a maid? If someone had suggested the notion before, the prince would have laughed and sent them away. Mostly because Alexander had always been the normal one, the smart one, and the one that stuck to himself. Perhaps while KC had been out riding with ladies of the court, his brother had been meeting with maids of the palace. It repulsed him to see his brother drop so low in his station. Yes, he knew about love. He had Rena, of course. But a maid? Kaleb quickly dropped a kiss on Rena's forehead, thanking God that she was a princess. And that they were going to be married. Although his enjoyed kissing his fiance, he didn't want to make a scene, not with his brother so close by.

A slow smirk crept across his face as a plan popped into his mind. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he asked, having a hunch that she was. "I'll go on around the right side of the lake, you go around the left. We'll meet behind the maple tree and surprise them." he said with a huge grin. He silently ducked from the rose bush behind the next one and hid behind the thick trunk of a nearby tree. It was always fun to tease he brother, even if he was older.

Dimari shook her head."Yes...I um...Have to go!"She got up sprinting away with her eyes closed,and ears open,until she reached a far corner of the gardens.

Serena kept watching the two for a moment before she was aware of KC dropping a kiss on her forehead. She was so happy he was a prince at the moment. No, that wasn't true. She was happy he was her fiance. Serena listened to his plan and a small smirk crept across her face. They had often done these things when they were younger. They often hid somewhere to scare others. The princess silently moved around the right side of the lake, succeeding in hiding behind the maple tree without being seen. Luckily she had put on her simpler dress. With her giant ball dress she would have obviously been seen. The girl glanced around, smiling softly at KC as she caught sight of him.

Arabella shook her head violently. "No, I'm not leaving you," she said, tying the bit of torn shirt around her hand tightly. "You're coming with me." She placed his arm over her shoulders and her arm underneath his other arm to support him, then heaved and staggered upright. She walked him over to his horse and let him lean against the horse's side, before she attempted to push him up into the saddle. "You're coming, with me," she repeated, staring at him intensely.

Patch cursed under his breath with pain. He sighed adn climbed onto the horse "Fine, but if i pass out, dont get hurt". He held on tightly as they rode down the path.

"I'll hold onto you," she promised swinging into her saddle after grabbing her bow and quiver, placing her hand on his leg as they moved down the path as quickly as they dared. They soon reached the house and Arabella jumped from her saddle and ran inside, hoping someone was there. She caught the attention of a girl inside who said she would run for the doctor. Arabella went back outside for Patch. "The doctor's on his way," she smiled at him, taking his feet out of the stirrups. She looked up at him. "Now you keep your promise; you stay alive. OK? For me?"

Tristan leaned back at her sudden reaction. She was acting so strange, but it was Dimari. "Okay.." He didn't say bye, and didn't really need to say bye. She had already disappeared into the thick hedges of the gardens. He leaned against the cold marble bench, wrapping his arms around the back.

KC silently gave Rena a quick wave as he skirted the lake, dodging a stout hedge. He ducked behind the last bush before the maple tree and peeked out. He was very close to the couple. Praying that his brother and the maid wouldn't notice him, the prince quickly crept past them and behind the thin maple tree. It didn't hide him or Rena very well, but it would work. He raised his hand once she reached him, one finger pointing up, then two, then finally.. three.
