Velvet looked him weirdly with his bland response,
"Awh, Spotty, you seem bored with me."
She said, a small smile on her face.

"You know, I can leave if you want, i know I'm not that fun."
She said with a shrugging giggle.

Shasta looked at Velvet. He strolled over to her and gave her a nudge that was rough but have a tinge of affection as well. "It's not you that bores me. It's the world, the same thing every day." He flicked his tail against his rump as he stepped around the oasis.

She frowned and looked at Dexter.
"Dexter, don't talk to them like that. They are just foals" she said and looked at them.
She wondered why there where wandering around alone.

Hawk looked down and took a step back, Silver stood infront of him and looked at the stallion and mare.
"Don't worry miss, we are used to that. In fact, we don't have enyone to teach us what to do or don't" she said, glaring at the amused looking stallion.

Unsure of what she was doing, Badger simply let his eyes follow Kassandra for a bit before he began to slowly trot after her. He began to process what she had said to him, She's right, I shouldn't isolate myself for so long. I should start to roam around once again and hopefully get to know other kelpies. His head shook some before he realized that he was still following Kassandra. He couldn't scent a few other kelpies that were around; the scents must have been from the ones she had asked about earlier.
He gave a soft snort as his trot began to slow some, not keeping his pace with hers. In case he felt he didn't belong at the time he would simply leave as she reunited with her loved ones. He was soon at a walk, tossing his forelock out of his face to get a better view of where they were at the moment.

He caught a familiar scent on the air and his first reaction was surprise. He took off away from everyone and towards the scent without a word before he spotted two figures, one of which he recognized instantly. The colt almost bucked in excitement as he slowed his pace when he knew they could hear him. "Mom?" He said a little in disbelief. Crius stopped completely and looked at her before turning to Badger and then returning his expectant gaze to his mother.

She looked up as Crius crashed away and heard him faintly yell something that sounded like mom. Mom? She thought. No way! Excitement for seeing her mother again built up and she raced off after Crius. Stumbling into him when she saw he stopped and was staring at two other Kelpies, she realized it was in fact her mom!

He lifted his head suddenly and perked his ears where his children had vanished. "Kids!" He yelled afraid they had taken off after some unknown equid. He sniffed the air and scented Kassandra near and another stallion. He looked at Soul before charging after his kids, just in case.

Kassandra's head turned to watch as Badger dropped back a bit. She tilted her head a bit, considering whether or not to say something to him. Her choice was made for her when a crashing could be heard and someone asked 'Mom?'. Her head quickly whipped around in time for her to see her colt stopping before her. He of course was looking at her with an expectancy in his gaze. But she didn't have to answer to him right away, for his twin soon came stumbling out beside him. But of course the party wasn't going to totally get underway until they were all here, was it? And as predicted, her sensitive ears picked up the sounds of an adult kelpie following her twins, presumably their father.
She remembered to send one last reassuring smile towards Badger before she swiftly went over to her children. Kass nuzzled both of her yearlings, keeping her smile small with some effort. "Hello, kids. How've you been?" Such an insignificant question. But honestly, any clever, smart remarks had disappeared from her mind when she had seen them, and now she was left with a loss of words. However, she had better get her words back soon, for their father would not be far behind them.

Good here and there. Bored other times." The yearling said in response to his mother's question. Crius then returned the affection before speaking again. "And you? Any stories to tell us since you've been gone for a while?" He asked before addressing Badger's presence. "Hi, I'm Crius."

The mare lifted her head sharply as a butterfly landed on her back, making her jump. She turned her head to look at it as it basked in a beam of sunlight. It was as pale as the sky at sunrise. A soft shade of blue. Gentle. The edges of its fragile, closed wings were delicately lined with white. Inbetween the two colours, an array of sunset-orange and black spots gave the butterfly some more colour. Featherheart reached her head closer to she if she could scent it. But the whuff of her breath sent it flying away. She watched, half-dismayed and half-in-awe, as it flittered up into the canopy of the trees. Even after it had vanished from sight, she looked towards the spot where it had disappeared. What must it be to fly? she pondered, her eyes glazed, as if in a trance.

Remus looked up slightly as Featherheart watched the butterfly disappear. He watched her facial expression change. Not again, he rolled his eyes. Featherheart always got lost in thought. Always the daydreamer. But he didn't let her stop him from finishing his meal. He carried on gnawing at the grass, taking in every bite.

Badger twitched one of his ears at the sound of the of the colt's voice. "Hello there I am Badger." he said, looking at Crius then Kassandra; keeping his distance from. He let his forelock fall into his face as his head lowered some. He felt he didn't need to be with her any longer since she found who she was looking for so he decided to leave her and her family be. "It was nice talking with you Kassandra and it was nice meeting you Crius, maybe we'll see each other again one day." he stated before turning and walking back the way they came.
Now being alone, he slowly made his way back down the path they took to find her family. He took notice of a few kelpies that were around then simply went on his way. He soon found himself nearing a small body of water, he looked at his reflection for a moment then lowered his head and got a drink from the cooling water. His head then lifted to look at the sky above, not really having an idea of what to do now.
