That's beautiful. <3 I'm so sorry you lost your friend. No matter how long we have with our pets, it is never, ever enough time.

I lost my own furry black girl two years ago next month, and I still love her every bit as much as I did every day for the nearly sixteen years she was alive. I did a picture of her right after she died, too, as a way of remembering her. It's a good way to spend time with the happy memories.

I know you don't know me or anything, but . . . if you want to talk, I'm happy to listen. I love cats, and I know how hard this is, and nobody should feel like they don't have someone to talk to about it. (With CS being the lovely place it is, I don't think there's aaaaaaany shortage of that, I think we all Get It, but my door's always open, JSYK.)
Wanna help me find these items? ImageImageImageImageImageImage

R.I.P Hershey.
Wow, twenty years is a long time. My girl is getting up there, too. Kind of scary thinking about life without her. Why can't pets just live forever? Gah.
As long as he's in your heart, he'll be with you in spirit. I hope you can recover quickly from your loss. <3

the best i can do is get my mind off him for a while and go to bed thinking about him. my mom is going to get a small plate holder for his food bowl, and we are going to keep his ashes(i get to keep them for a few years too <33)
