Why can I not trade for Malk Fairies?!?!?

Rant: Okay, so it's not that I was overpaying (because I wasn't), or that it was a fair trade and they cancelled (because the fairies weren't for trade, and I totally respecct that), it's that every time I work up the nerve to trade away my Darwin (I love him so much!) The trade is cancelled... so not having a good day today.

And I really need those Malk Fairies ;3;

What year are they from? I want to add them to my wishlist but I cant find them anywhere...

A bit angry. More confused. .-.
So I get this suggestion asking what quantity I'm looking for.
I get a bit upset, seeing as how they've completely disregarded a rule and the box that says I'm looking for quantity list for the guy.
But I decide to be nice, and send it back as a suggestion:

I believe it explains it in my rules. ;]

And then they cancel with no message.

What the heck did I do? I was nice even after you very well could have actually read my rules or gone to the auction page to find out. Seriously.
This is it. I'm going to stop being so nice to rule-breakers. Because this is what happens; they're just rude about me tryin to be nice.

Yeah, I've found that being nice to people who don't read the rules just encourages them to continue not reading the rules. I don't want to be mean to people because it really does make me feel badly afterwards, but sometimes I think it's the only way.

I have a Raven dog that I'm casually taking offers on and I got this from a user who has been on the site since 2011. I politely canceled and included the message that the trade was very unfair, that I required WL pets to be involved in the trade and that they should do some research about the value of the Raven dog before sending another trade. I got this trade back a few minutes later... What the heck? Trying to be kind is just really frustrating sometimes.

I've been getting so much (unfair) trades for my items for non-wishlist pets.

I'd love to have the ability to lock only specific items instead of an entire section.
Like, I'm fine with trading 90% of my scarves/capes.
But I want to keep my Thief Cloaks.
I like them, and I don't want to share.

I wish there was a way to move certain items to a "NFT" group, like pets.
