Arlana
She can create golden... anything really. Plants, animals, but her greatest strength is the ability to create a golden army. If I won her she would be the only survivor of a great war that destroyed the Golden Empire (very complicated, but it has to do with a series of stories I am going to write called the Silver Empire) so she absorbed all of the power, she may be very strong but she can loose control of her army and creations, luckily she can destroy them if she has to, but she almost always needs help from others since she cannot control her great power most of the time.
When the Golden Empire was destroyed, the power crystal,
the Golden Crystal, shattered, Arlana was the closest to the crystal, so when she absorbed the power her wings and horn morphed. She was in great pain, so she screamed, and in her agony, she destroyed what was remaining of the castle's support with her new power, and the world literally crumbled around her. She has had problems controlling her power ever since, many times have happened when she looses control of her gold creations, they have even attacked her in the past. Since her family is dead she might never truly learn how to control her powers, but this does not stop her. Many have said that her hunger for revenge will be her undoing.
As a young mare, thanks to her mother, she gained the talent of 'sun bringing' and no, this is not raising the sun, this means she can take the warmth and rays of the sun and place them on the earth, she helps things grow or die with the sunlight, well, she did. After she absorbed the power of the Golden Crystal, however, she lost her precious talent and gained her current one, creation of gold entities, as one may put it. She did not loose the cutie mark, so it is a permanent reminder to her of the life and love she lost.
Arlana is a very social and popular mare, but she has two sides. No, she is not bi-polar, she just hides parts of herself from the world.
Arlana can be a kind, lovable mare. She is smart and can be a flirt. She can sweet-talk her way into or out of almost any situation. However, it takes a lot to win her heart, she does find amusement in flirting with stallions since, for her at least, stallions are like minions. Be nice to them and they will exact your every wish.
However, Arlana has a dark side, she can be cruel and manipulative. She may seem to be bright and cheerful, but when she is in her dark mood she is mare of darkness. She will watch your every move until she finds your weakness, then she abuses that knowledge and can make the life of any pony a true terror.
She is not necessarily neutral, but she does enjoy switching between the sides of good and evil. This makes her both useful and dangerous. In all honesty, part of her will always long for the warmth and love she lost and strive for good, however, the power of the Golden Crystal morphed her mind and as long as she possesses it's power, she will always be evil.

"Ah... the story of the sweet filly transformed into a dark mare... I shall tell you."
"It has been many sun rises and falls since I have recalled the tale of the Golden Empire and the Golden Princess, you see, I reside in the Silver Empire and I had only traveled tot he Golden Empire several times until the war, so there may be some... fuzzy spots."
"She was born on the longest day, the day the queen of the Silver Empire and her eldest daughter made the sun shine like molten gold and the moon like molten silver. This was a time of peace and love for the sister empires, Silver and Gold. The royal families would meet and discuss important matters. The queen of the Golden Empire had a son, not much older than the eldest princess of the Silver Empire, they were still young adults, teenagers practically, when their families decided that they, seeing as they were best of friends, would be the ones to join the two empires. When they heard of this news, the prince was ecstatic, he had secretly loved the Silver princess and had dremt of becoming her king. The princess, however, was not so pleased. She fought the queens and kings and refused to be wed to the prince. This caused a rip in the bond of the two empires, and the king and queen of the Silver Empire faught with the king and queen of the Golden Empire. Since all of them were Alicorns, they flew to the peak of the Golden Castle, home of the Golden Crystal. In the midst of battle, the crystal cracked and a sun shaped shard fell to ground."
"It was the Silver Princess who stopped the fighting, after the Silver royalty returned to their empire, the queen and king of the Golden Empire wept for their broken crystal, however, their filly princess, Arlana, found them sulking and started playing with the sun-shaped shard. Her parent's realized that now they had a way to keep a part of the Golden Empire with their daughter wherever she went, they had the three best designer and seamstress ponies craft a black lace chocker for their young daughter to wear with the crystal shard."
"She wore that chocker and crystal shard every day, proud of it's beauty. The black of the lace stood put against her pure gold hair. Her mother began training her in ways of the sun to help her find her talent, if it weren't for her mother's efforts and the strength she was given in the crystal shard, she may not have ever found her talent."

"The Silver and Golden Empires were in the mists of battle within the Golden Empire's kingdom, all faught with strength and fury of a dark spirit. The princess was hiding with the Golden Crystal. Her talent was no help and the moment her mother and father were slain the Golden Crystal stattered."
"Arlana tried to run from the shards but the magic surrounded her and fused itself with her body, transforming her horn and wings and changing her talent all together."

"Arlana stood atop a pile of golden rubble and her eyes swept across the land. All that remained was her, and the black lace chocker with the Golden Crystal shard. That chocker was one of the few things that proved the Golden Empire had once existed, and it helps her remember who she once was."
"Oh? I see you wish to hear more, I am sorry, but the rest of Arlana's tale has yet to be written. However, I can tell you this. Arlana is not a completely evil pony, she still does things for good. Her mind and body are morphed, but she is still that sweet princess. Who knows, maybe someday she will expel the power of the Golden Crystal and regain her original talent and true personality, but there are evil ponies in the world... Do what is right, if you ever come across Arlana, do not flee, we must show her that she is still loved or she may never be the way she once was."
She is a bit taller than the average pony.
