Scarlett whimpered softly as she remembered what had happened only the night before. Her owner was supposed to love her and never let her go but suddenly just throw her out is unbelievable. How could he? she sighed sadly and glanced around slowly as she dragged ger paws through the local park, a depressed look on her face. The australian shepherd didn't feel like eating eventhough her stomach was growling at her like crazy. She ignored the pain and crawled under a park bench to spend the night as she saw the last glimpse of the sunlight fade past the horizon and the street lamps flickered on and the night began.
Rocky was less afraid and heart-broken as Scarlett and actually seemed quite pleased to be out of the ring. He may seem like he loves to fight but in truth, he loathes it more than anything. It's just now that he's on the streets as a stray, he has no one to control him and he feels like he must stand up to any dog in his path. He clambered under a street lamp and sat down, his stumpy back tail thumping against the ground slowly.

Anila sighed and stared blankly ahead, her tail between her legs. She hung her head as she passed the many houses, probably filled with dogs happily sleeping in their soft beds by their owners' feet. She longed for that life., even though she knew no-one would adopt her. She curled up underneath a low-hanging tree in someone's garden. As she fell asleep she knew she would either be shooed away or taken to the pound. The place where she didn't want to visit again.
Nasim looked around, his tail wagging happily. He had no idea of what had just happened, only that his owner had left him though would probably return. He yawned and peeked under every brush and sniffed every scent. He was wondering when he would be able to explore without his owner telling him not to chase that rabbit or follow that scent. He spotted a couple other dogs, though not many.

Rick. She had to get to Rick. Cracker ran like crazy twards the sunset. She knew if she ran that way, she would eventually get to Bruno... Bruno! She thought he was gone for a long time. Cracker didn't know what "gone" meant, but she assumed she would never see him again. Her paws ran and ran accross the ground, thumping rythmicly. It was just like running in the woods in Nam or like working in the fields with Rick, Tristie, and Bruno. She sighed. It was too bad she left that place behind. Benwa... Tonsonoo... What Cracker longed for most was a weiner. A big, juicy weiner, like the ones Rick used to give her. Her stomach growled in anticipation of that weiner, but she knew those, along with everything else, was gone. She had been running for miles. The poor dog was so exausted. The last time she could remember feeling this tired was when she had been tranquilized to fly home, but that was a long time ago. She ran through the dark, panting heavily. A bench was quickly approaching. With a flying leap, Cracker cleared it. It reminded her of the time she and Tristie ran for the steak and jumped some gas cans. She memory made her stomach growl and her heart sigh. Tristie. She was gone. Gone to a better place. Suddenly, another dog caught her nose. She stopped and whirrled around. A small ball was laying under the bench she had jumped. Cracker approached slowly, stopped a few feet away, and barked: WOOF!

Elise wandered around, sniffing the cold air. She tried to remember why she had come here, but her mind could not give her a reason. Well, I might as well have a tiny look around... she thought. Suddenly, she heard a bark from far away. She paid no attention. The voice had said, It's better to be in a home! Elise felt rejected, and wanted to go to bed. But her aching legs were sore, and the pain was unbearable. She leaned onto a fire hydrant, and watched the stars twinkle in the night.

Scarlett yawned softly and the shepherd dog opened her eyes slowly. She let out a small sigh as she saw the stars twinking and the moon shining, it appeared to be brighter than ever on a night like this. She sighed sadly. "Such a beautiful night for such awful day." she whined slightly. She crawled out from under the bench as she heard her stomach growl again, alot louder and more aggressive than before. She sniffed the air and swiftly padded out of the park and down an alley way where she could scent trash cans. Surely there'll be something edible in a place like this. SHe hopped on top of one the bins and nosed around inside.
Rocky glanced around slowly and after laying down and resting his head on his paws, the huge rottweiler was just about ready to take a long evening nap. He sighed contently. Sleeping out here was alot better than sleeping in that horrible warehouse and atleast he had some peace and quiet here. He yawned a long, deep yawn before closing his eyes and attempting to get some sleep on such an amazing night.

VenusThe Saluki panted and glanced over her shoulder. Her paws hurt like hell. Her tounge rolled out of her mouth, begging for water. Ricky, her human, wasn't at the meat store. Venus, the Saluki, hung her slightly and wondered towards one of the dirty alley walls. The stupid meat shop person had shooed her out of the store, giving a kick towards her. He had intrupted her search. Her body crippled under her, begging for sleep. The female mumbled something to her self before laying her head on her brown paws, wraping her feathery tail around her body, and letting her eye lids fall down over her eyes. Aleixo A white and black nose poked through tall, green grass. The dog shook his head and let out a small sneeze because of the grass. The Afghan Collie took in his surroundings the best he could. night had fallen and the only light was that from buzzing street lamps, and the most natural light of all, the moon. The moon glimmered Aleixo's black wavey fur. His fur wasn't long, but wasn't short either. Was in the middle, like his life. The dog wasn't happy, but he wasn't sad either. The Collie mix was content, you could say. The male stared down at his paws for a moment before jumping away from his spot and running through the small park.
A man might befriend a wolf, even break a wolf, but no man could truly tame a wolf

Cracker cocked her head and wagged her tail at the pup, but it got up and walked away. It seemed depressed. Like her.... But oh well. Cracker had to trudge on, and she knew it. The Shepherd lunged in the other direction, taking off to find Bruno. Her paws were beginning to ache and her stomach roared for food, but she pulled on. On and on she ran, hoping to find Rick or Bruno or Cody. Waves of saddness rushed over her as she thought of Rick. Suddenly, she stopped. A sleeping Rottweiler blocked her path. Cracker barked VERY loudly, hoping to get some sort of help or reaction. He may know Bruno... Cracker trembled at the process.
Woof!
Her bark echoed back from the night. Woof!Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Surely she must have awoken him...
