Steph walked into the school gates.
She looked around, wondering if anyone here was gonna be someone she knew, but her chances on that where against her. Walking to the office she smiled. "Ummm hi. Im Stephanie Maytia. Would you happen to know what my dorm number is?" She asked.

The young lady looked up and smiled gently, "Your name would be?"

The lady stood and handed her a small slip of paper with her timetable and dorm number on it, "If you like, I could show you to your room," she said, "Oh, and my name is Talia Hill, just call me Tal, and I am your principal." she extended a hand.

Steph shook her hand politely. "Gracias, pero estoy seguro de que puedo encontrar mi propio camino." She said, forgetting that here, almost no-one would speak spainish, but the words came as instinct. Grabbing the papers she began the walk in the direction on the girls dorms.
(Did I ever say steph is half spainish? I don't think I did, because I always forget. English is her second Language. Gracias, pero estoy seguro de que puedo encontrar mi propio camino. = Thank you, but I'm sure I can find my own way.)
