After climbing up, she started down at the sea of fuzz. " hopefully the squirrels at least injured the 12 year olds.." She said softly as she stared down at the fuzz. It was as if it were calling to her. She disnt know what she was doing. Kiandra took a step closer to the edge. Then another. One more step..

( MuHAhahahaha. Deciding wether to kill or Kiandra or Aaron... I will decide tomorrow. See ya guys! )

"Kiandra!" Bella screamed, grabbing her ally's hand and pulling her back. "Don't do that! You could've died!"

The squirrels had stopped at the bottom of the cliff, and swarmed around the base of the sheer rock. They pushed ever more frantically at the rocks, climbing on top of each other in their effort to reach their prey. Behind them, gray and bare earth stretched like a scar. The scritch-scratching of their claws against the wall was growing fainter, though, but not because they were giving up. On the contrary, a small group of squirrels had begun murdering the rest. Their limp bodies piled against the wall as the survivors climbed higher and higher to escape the traitors.
The pile of dead squirrels grew, and grew.

Bella reached into her backpack. "This may not be a good idea, but i'm going to try it anyways..." She muttered, pulling out the raw meat of the bird her and Kiandra had killed earlier. She folded back the plastic wrap and picked up a piece of it, throwing it out the cave as far as she could reach.

Some of the squirrels turned their heads towards th meat, racing down the pile of squirrels, sending them tumbling. They reached the meat and began a vicious fight over it, small as it was.
They seemed to enjoy the blood.
But one squirrel simply looked up at Bella. You could almost see its robotic gaze following the three tributes in the cave. It was larger than the others, obviously the leader.

Bella grabbed a sharp rock that was sitting in the back of the cave and flung it at the head squirrel, her eyes narrowed.

The squirrel was too fast. It was a squirrel, after all. With an amazing leap, it struggled its way up the cliff face until it reached the mouth of the cave. No longer cute, it stood with bard teeth and claws.

(( If this was a tribute, they would not be this super-powered. But since it's a genetically engineered squirrel... Well, they get an exception. ))

Bella picked up her sword and swung it, aiming for the squirrel's head.

The squirrel darted to the side; climbed up the wall. It dug its claws in and hissed like a wet cat.
