Oh, Okay... Thornheart said, slightly disappointed. He started to trot away but turned his head back and saidWell, I guess I'll leave you to your apprentice walked forward between some bramble bushes and vanished from sight. Why Starclan, Why do I have to be so mousebrained!? he thought to himself as he started flexing his claws in the soft dirt. He listened from his thorny sanctum for what Frostgaze was doing now.

Rainpaw yowled as her mentor, Leaftremble suddenly headbutted her with powerful force. Her natural reflexes kicked in, bringing her into a split second Paw-swat squarely on the head. Rainpaw brought down another hard thwack onto her mentors head, pinning her own ears down flat to her head. Rainpaw's heart still beat fast as she brought herself back to a battle stance again, her head a bit dizzy from the fast comeback. She hadn't done anything like this before, and it felt great but just so startling!

{ Go ahead Paradise, and nothing Drastic has happened but it's about mid morning.

"Nice job." Leaftremble meowed breathlessly. She thought for a second about her next move. If she was against someone with more experience, she would duck under them, and give them a good kick in the belly while holding their foreleg. She wasn't sure how Rainpaw would react, and she didn't want to use too terribly advanced moves against her. But, Rainpaw needed to see what combat was all about. Leaftremble decided to go for it, and rolled underneath her attacker, swiftly jabbing her underbelly with her paws. She decided against biting down on her leg, but she might touch on that later.

Frostgaze watched as Thornheart made his way away from her. No matter what she did, she always seemed to disappoint and upset people. She debated whether or not to go after him, but decided she wouldn't and began to make her way back to camp. She glanced over her shoulder one more time and sighed the continued walking.

Rainpaw was assumed that something tricky was going to be used against her, so when Leaftremble slid underneath her, she felt somewhat ready. She let her legs crumble underneath her, squashing her mentor. Swatting at her head, Rainpaw smiled feeling proud of herself for feeling ready and reacting quickly. She rolled off and scrambled to her legs. This time Rainpaw was going to make an attack on her mentor. She gave her just enough time to get up before clinging onto her back, plumbing her with Swats.

Leaftremble's breath was hard to come by as the apprentice continued to rain blows. "It's on!" She meowed, fluffing her tail up and kicking hard with her back legs. She was barely able to get enough wiggle room to slide out from under her. She briefly considered her options, and decided to see what Rainpaw would do next, and play on the defense. Not only would it sharpen Rainpaw's offensive skills, it would also improve her own defensive skills. She stood in her fighting stance, which gave her strong stability. She flicked her tail in a way that seemed to scream; Come at me. I dare you.
