This kind of annoyed me.
So I received this suggestion with the message "What would you like for these?"
Since I didn't have a double of anything they asked for and I generally only trade doubles, I sent this back with the message, "Sorry, but I don't have doubles of those and therefore want to keep them. However, I will trade these, and I'm looking for wishlist/fodder trade-ups to help me get my wishlist pets right now. " which I thought was pretty clear and nice.
I logged on today to find that they had canceled it with the message, "Thats Soo Fair to ME," which I just don't understand. I mean, I was responding to their first question with something I would trade, and it's not like I was saying I wanted to do that straight trade or anything; that's why I sent it as a suggestion! Dx

@ Cefie- I know, I first thought is was the 08 Halo, and was like, "Well, I'll edit..." but I checked the items guide and I saw the real 08 Halo, I was very shocked about getting this trade.

@NightGaze- I will not pay for new eyes, sorry

I send a trade asking for someone's UR dog, offering 750 C$ in return. Five minutes later, they cancel with:

No thank you Dx

This message is a bit on the rude side after how polite I was to them, wouldn't you say? This is just my opinion. This message rubs me the wrong way.

Honestly, I must say it's pretty hard to cancel a trade without any message sounded even slightly rude;;
Also, I'd say people add smileys to make their messages sound less rude xD

I agree, I cancel with that sometimes, and people just tell me I am rude. What else do you want me to do?
It was unfair for the UR Tiger..

Not a single person wants this UR apple. I'm offering pretty massive overpay, but demand always gets in the way.

When people don't have a group with pets for trade in it or a couple of NFT groups, then you offer a trade and they're like "OMG THEY ARE NOT FOR TRADE!!!"

That's why I either a.) State in my trade rules what is NFT, b.) Put NFT in their names, or c.) put it in the group name that they are NFT. I don't like to lock groups because my NFT pets are showcase only :3

It annoys me too, that's why I try to prevent it.
