When Beck tells me his plan of poisoning all water sources but the lake, I just nod once silently, thinking about what he just said. I don't think there are any more water sources, I once went a distance into the forest, and I doubt there'd be any water in the caves or desert. I could be wrong though, and decide not to say anything now as Beck sees the girl by the river. I don't come along, I probably couldn't stand someone being tortured or killed. I hear him call Aaron and I wonder what's happening vaguely. I spare a glance and see that my fellow careers are handling this better than I expected, maybe they wouldn't kill her after all. I can't help myself from looking, though, when the fight between Aaron and this girl breaks out. I can tell he's going very easy, but I don't know the girl, maybe she is, too. A gash suddenly appears on the girl's arm and for one second, I think Aaron feels regret for this by his facial expression. I thought Aaron was a killer that would stop at nothing, like Beck.. He spares the girl and calls for me to stay, that's when I see them. The two girls in the tree fairly into the forest yet just visible. Beck, Aaron and strangely, the girl with the injured arm walk into the forest towards them. I can see the girls struggling to get out and away from them, but they have no chance. I look away, I know if they don't kill these people they'll do something I don't want to watch. As the time ticks on I can hear yelling, one minute later, however, I see Beck and Aaron come into the canyon. Beck looking sinister and holding a bloody dagger. I don't want to know what they did in there, but I hope it's nothing too serious for the girls sake. C'mon Sophia this is the Hunger Games! As if I'll win it without killing someone, snap out of it! I think to myself. I need to show no mercy here, and be more like Beck, as Aaron said; I am a career...

Angela sighed heavily. "Is this going to scar?" She was scared off the answer but she wanted to know.
Jillian sat in her tree quietly this was going well for her.

Beck

He looked back at Sierra before turning forward and spotting Sophia. He smiled, waving his bloody dagger in the air, as if to wave to her. He laughed and ran his fingers through his hair. "I felt like we should have killed them.. but then again, they will probably get killed by their stupidity soon enough.." he sighed.

Aaron

He nodded and patted Sophia's shoulder as he walked by her. He walked into the cornocopia and grabbed some dried apple slices. He took a bite of one, and then passed it to Sophia. "You need to eat kiddo.." he said as he passed a piece to Beck, the offered some to Sierra. "I don't think the other careers will approve when they come out, But I can offer you a light snack before you leave.." he said as he held out the fruit.

Kiandra

She looked down at the Careers and a girl. She smirked. "I heard the screaming, but no cannon. They must have injured those girls in the trees.." she hypothesized. "Let's go there. They both were easier kills before, but now.." she laughed as she started climbing down.

She froze. "Fine." she said accepting. She thought she had a few allies but she shrugged it off.

Aaron

he nodded, and heard people in the cornocopia. "That's them.. you better run before one of them walks out.." he said slowly as he looked over his shoulder then back at Sierra with a smile. "See ya around.." he laughed

She nodded "Thanks again. Later." She ran in the woods heading the other direction.

I take the food gratefully and eat it. I decide to fill my water bottle, and realize just how thirsty I am. "Well I'm gonna fill this up, and this." I pick up the other water purifier and start walking to the lake. When I get there I fill them both up and wait for the filter to do it's job. Afterwards I put both the purifiers down and pick up my throwing axe. A bit of practice might help. But I think I'll be good at it, how different can it be to a knife? I find a tree stump near where everyone is set up and start throwing at it. I'm good, but no where near as good as what I am with knives. Sometimes I even hit the handle of the axe onto the stump. "Next time you kill someone, check if they have throwing knives won't you?" I say in a frustrated voice as I hit the stump with the handle again. I'm not sure who I was talking to, maybe Aaron, maybe anyone in general - doesn't matter.
