bluepaw's blue eyes scanned the darkened shadows of the forest, searching for her prey. unsheathed claws tensed as she carefully bundled herself up, preparing for the attack on an innocent rabbit. bluepaw's pelt prickled with excitement as she readied herself for the final leap... bluepaw jumped into the air, swiftly biting her neck into its throat...
"hey! i'm not prey! get off of me, you mouse-brain!"
"sorry," bluepaw apologized to her brother. it had all just been a dream, but she didn't care. in her eyes, she had still caught that rabbit. she got up, blinking as her bright blue eyes hit the sunshine. she managed to stand, arching her back in a stretch and leaving the den.

deerpaw was huddled comfortably in his mossy bed in the warriors den, deep in a peaceful rest. his tail twitched slightly, feeling a bug crawl over it. deerpaw had thought about getting up, but had decided that he would need more rest for training. as he was in the most comfortablest spot, deerpaw could feel himself floating in the clouds...
tiny claws dug into his haunches. he grunted, jerking awake. deerpaw saw his sisters' paws on his side, so he sat up and cuffed her with a small growl. as bluepaw came back into reality, she apologized and got up, stretching. deerpaw did the same thing, looking over to where swanpaw usually slept. but, as usual, she was already up.

swanpaw sat in the centre of the camp, gently running her tongue across her fluffy coat. it was always messy in the morning, and being a clean freak, swanpaw always spent time grooming it sometime during the day. as soon as she had smoothed down the last flaw, she sighed calmly, pleased with her work. she stood up, her pale blue eyes searching for frostgaze, her mentor. she was excited about becoming a warrior; although she had ambitions to become a medicine cat, starclan didn't think she was right for the job and so she settled for a warrior. she still liked being an apprentice, but still thought about what she wanted to be.
