"Okay," she said, nodding. Then she grabbed the rubbing alcohol, placing it on a piece of cotton and smearing it as best she could over the ugly gash. She did it as fast as possible, hoping to get it over with.

Angela bit the inside of her cheek until she felt blood. Her muscles clenched up but she managed to stay quiet. "Thanks." She croaked.

Alyssa looked at Angela's face, then at the bandage, then back again. "Uh, do you want it wrapped up?"

Angela shook her head. "No. It'll be fine. We should continue moving." She got up and looked back at where the Careers had disappeared. "Scum." She spat quietly.

Alyssa picked herself up with her staff, and glanced nervously in the Career's direction. "Where to?" she asked. "Deeper into the woods?"

Angela didn't know what was out there but it wasn't Careers. "Yeah I guess. Maybe we can find a better shelter...." She hoped.

"Good idea," said Alyssa. She turned slowly and began hobbling into the woods. "Coming?"

Jillian sat in a tree. She had saw the whole thing with the Careers. It was hard for her not to laugh at the stupid girls. Then at the stupid Careers for letting them go.
