Seeing the cat sit next to Rivershade. I bit my tongue watching as my brother 'looked' at the cat for a moment. Don't mantion his blindness, don't mension his blindness! I think. Many cats often did comment about it. Sometimes teasing, sometimes saying he's 'inadequit' for warrior life, or sometimes even asking what is it like to be a medicine cat.

I sigh in reliief as the cat makes no 'bad comments.' But I sit close by, listening in on their conversttion. Just to make sure that there will be no bad comments about my brother's blindness. There it is! I bite my tongue, forcing my self to stay still. Now he's done it! This cat could think he's a medicine cat now! Why would you say you havn't been hunting much!!?? I scream to Rivershade in my head.

I sit down next to the cat. My clouded eyes move away for a moment as I think. "Some...." I mew to him. "But not much." After a moment, I add in. "I havn't really been hunting that often, actualy." My blinded eyes stare foward, seeking out for nothing. And it is true, I've been on more patrols.
