Foe list PM option dosen't work

Up, i just checked my foes settings again and again it was turned off? While i clearly had turned it on when this issue was posted. I want people to be able to pm me, but the settings set themselves back to blocking?

I asked sweets and hers were turned off again as well. Think this is a more serious problem then just not being able to pm your foes >.>

I noticed this awhile ago, and sent in a help ticket to Nick.
This was his reply:

Hi there,

Thanks for the report! I had a look around our code, but it looks like the Foes page is the only place where that setting can be toggled.

If you manage to figure out an action which reliably causes that option to be turned off accidentally, please let me know! It would likely be something that changes your trade settings

So unfortunately it looks like if we can't find out ourselves what's going wrong, then we'll have to unfoe certain people. ^^;

That kinda defeats the purpose of the foe button, lol. I foe people whom i don't want to trade with, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to contact me. I guess i'll just have to keep putting the thing on every time i look at my foes (Which isn't that often loool)

I just found out what untoggles the feature! I had it checked, then foed you (Sorry fattu lol) and checked. The box is now unchecked. So every time you foe someone, it will be toggled back on. I'm sending a help ticket to Nick now.

Seems to me this feature of not letting foes PM you is far more trouble than when we didn't have it.

I'd love to see this feature removed since adding a simple rule of having messages from foes be automatically deleted simulates this feature quite easily if it can't be fixed.

There's also still the issue of not being able to PM people who you have whitelisted via the check box.

Maybe remove the feature for the time being and implement it then again when it does work properly? At the moment it does not really work and resets itself randomly it seems.

in google chrome, it resets itself when you foe someone using the block button in trades, but also when you foe someone using the profile foe option.

In internet explorer it resets itself only when you foe someone via their profile.

I don't have firefox or safari so sadly can't try on those two, but this is what i've told nick also ^.^

For Safari, I tested the feature, and the PM option resets itself if you foe somebody via their profile. ^^
For Firefox, my friend Pandah. tested the feature, and the PM option resets if you foe somebody by entering their name into the feature itself.

On safari, does it reset itself when you use the block button in trades?

Sorry DD, I realized that awhile ago and didn't manage to edit in time. xD; On Safari, the PM option is still enabled if you block somebody via trade, and the same happens with Firefox.
