Firepaw stifled a purr. It was nice to hear one of the elder's stories again, and slowly, he layed down, as if he was only newly apprenticed was again. "Do you think that Darkstar will do so far us?" He questioned, flicking his tail in the direction of his friend, but also meaning his kin. "Or that it was just a practise?" He continued, "And that we're not yet ready?"

{ Well... The dogs fled, and everyone was ok, except Mistystream. She died from the amount of wounds given to her by the dogs. Firepaw, Stormpaw and Rootpaw got her, and the kits safely back to camp (and kind of assumed the others came as well). Stormpaw was sitting vigil for her with Firepaw, and talking about how they should be made warriors because of their actions in the fight. Firepaw is angry because no one, beside from the three of them, have even bothered to notice that Mistystream died, and was kinf of ranting to Stormpaw.... Twilightpaw and Mistfur are now talking, and I think that's about it! ^.^ }

{ And I'm just gonna quote this for Roseclaw... }

She hissed at Roseclaw, almost forgetting that it was training. No one ever dared call her slow, it just wasn't true. Slowly her fur began to lay flat on her shoulders again, and the intensity of her stare softened, "Can I practise some defensive moves?" She asked her, knowing that they were her strong point.

"Yes, Pebblekits mine." Rainpelt meowed.

"Young ones, thats his choice, your going to have to ask him that yourself." Blazefeather meowed. "But, that was the real deal, not practise." He meowed. "You two fought bravely, so did Mistystream."

The two sisters put a paw into camp, then another, and finally, their whole bodies were visible. Everything seemed changed from the way it looked when they left, and seemed amazed.

"She looks adorable, congrats. I know I won't have kits for a while, so I enjoy seeing these young ones running around," Thorntail purred, looking over to Tinycloud. "And I'm glad she's happy," he added, a hint of sadness in his voice as he curled his half-tail along the side of his body.

Rainpelt herd the bit of sadness in his tone. She smiled lightly. "Thanks, and dont worry, shes not the only fish in the sea, I mean Russetpaw is showing intrest."

Thorntail smiled slightly at Rainpelt. "I lost my tail saving her and Adderpaw, and Adderpaw almost killed her twice. We were jerks to each other, and I got extremely mad at him when he became mates with Tinycloud, because I never knew about it. But now we are just friends, both to Tinycloud and Adderstrike. I have to befriend their kits now as well, apparently. But yes, Russetpaw and I love each other, so I don't need to worry about those two any more. Once Russetpaw becomes a warrior, theres nothing that can separate us." Thorntail took a breath and smiled at Pebblekit and Ashkit sleeping side by side.

Firepaw hung his head at the sound of Mistystreams name and let a small, pitiful mew escape his maw. "Thanks Blazefeather..." He murmured, and padded out of the den once again, tail and head drooping, not even noticing Stormpaw as he passed him.

Russetpaw rolled her eyes and sighed. "Ok..." She murmured, standing up again. She ran at Roseclaw, ducking her head down low to collect the she-cat's front paws. As she fell forward, she slithered like a snake, so quick and full of agility, and rolled onto her back, kicking at Roseclaw's stomach with powerful hind legs. She sent her mentor flying through the air, and come crashing back to the ground with a thud. Immediately she was over the top of her, one paw on her throat and the other on her stomach. Her grip was firm, so that she couldn't get up, but not enough to hurt the she-cat. Roseclaw's front legs were pinned beneath her own weight, and hind legs too far away to get at Russetpaw. There was no way she could get out unless Russetpaw let her go. "Fast enough?" She questioned, her voice calm once again.

{ I had two ideas for Russetpaw and Thorntail, if we want to make it... dramatic... If Rootpaw, Sotmrpaw and Firepaw all get to become warriors, and she doesn't, that'd really hurt them... Or, she could, and they have kits, and she dies during kitting...? I don't know... we don't have to do either, just ideas c: }

"Im glad for you too." Rainpelt meowed. "I have a little sceret." She said bending closer to him. "Me, Firestorm and Darkstar where like that." She meowed, bending away from him.

{ I like the kitting idea, I was going make Rainpelt die, but is was like nahh. }

Stormpaw got up and followed him. "Whats the matter?" He asked.

"Nothing." He replied curtly, pushing his friend away. "Lets just make sure we speak to Darkstar by dawn." As he said so, Zinniapaw approached the two toms, and instructed them to sit with a flick of her tail. She looked flustered from running around between them all. She checked each cat thoroughly, and then raced off.

Zinniapaw ran back to the medicine cat's den, and then returned to the two toms, carrying a wad of cobweb, and some Alder leaves. She handed the cobwebs delicately to Firepaw to look after whilst she chewed up two of the leaves, and then spat the juice onto her paw. Ever so gently, she massaged the mixture into a deep wound of Stormpaw's shoulder. She then covered it with cobwebs, and moved un to the next, not speaking in case she broke her concentration. Once she had finished with him, she moved onto Firepaw, who didn't seem to really notice her presence. "I wont you to go get some sleep," She ordered the toms, "And come back to me in the morning so that I can reapply your cobwebs, and check for any infections."

{ So do I... But at the same time I don't want to kill off Russetpaw... Maybe from something else eventually.... Or if another litter ever comes, I'll just save it for them... }
