"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

Does anyone know when the 'October List' will come out? I am very curious.
Will that even be its official name?
If this is not allowed, I'm sorry.

The new list will come out when everyone is confident that it is accurate. C: And I believe its name will be the 2009 List, although it might change/vary from person to person at this stage.

I'd like to revisit this discussion that got buried quite a few pages back.

In fact, i wanted to open debate on below the gap pets. I feel that sorbets should be moved down on the same line, or at least closer together. On the same line would be better in my opinion, as they all are pretty swapable and all are pretty hard to trade. And that has been like that for over a year now.

Sure, fair trades are still being made for sorbets, but i do believe they are all worth the same. I would never swap a blue toxic for a yellow sorbet.

IMO i'd move all sorbets to the pink sorbet level, but move the joker down a notch. so, to make it easier to understand what i'm saying;

Blue Toxic
Green Sorbet
Blue Sorbet = Yellow Sorbet = Pink Sorbet

I know the green sorbet is supposed to be the rarest one, and the blue followed after that? So maybe those two could share a line? Eventho the gap between the other two sorbets isn't really that great. I feel like the toxic litter has always had better demand then the sorbet litter, but i'm a little bit biased there XDDD

DaDwarf - All sorbets are equal in rarity is my understanding. The pink is the only one with low demand compared to the others, while yellow seems to have good demand so I don't know why it's below green. I think the difference between them all is rather negligible. They could all be slotted onto the same line, I really don't think their demand differences are enough to split them. If they were on the same line I think a lot of traders would find it easier to work with them. They could all be put together and then trades could be monitored to see if they are indeed being swapped or if demand is causing particular colours are being added for/to.

I don't think the sorbets are quite in the correct spot at the moment.

Like i previously said, i support that move 100% Sorbets are swapable and i feel like the list should reflect that. Demand that once was for them has long gone, all of em are hard to trade and making them swapable according to the list might just make them that bit easier to trade.

I'm a big fan of having all sorbets on the same line. There's no more demand gap between any of them, those times have long passed xD

The green does seem to have a bit more demand though, doesn't it? As well as seem to be rarer than the blue, yellow and pink. Though maybe that's just in my experience..

It's not rarer C: All sorbets were released in the exact same amount, that's what tess said. Blue and green used to have more demand, but sorbet demand has been low for over a year..i'd almost say 2 years. The only reason people add to their other sorbets for the green now is because of this list. The list is supposed to reflect rarity and trading, not dictate it.

Oh, I didn't know all sorbets were the same exact rarity - I knew they were about the same, but I always thought the green was a worth a tad bit more. Oh well.

I've found yellow sorbets very easy to shift. Pink not so much but yellow definitely deserves to be up there with the others. I would also agree that the rares list seems to be the main reason people pay more for green sorbets. I don't think they are more popular/wanted than the other colours.

I just don't think the sorbets are different enough in demand to warrant being on separate levels on the list. It implies you have to add something substantial like an 08 Advent or a September pet to balance out the trades when really it wouldn't be that much. And as most of the above gap pets are measured in terms of sorbets, having them all together will make trading a bit easier I think.

Yes, having all of the sorbets would make above the gap trading easier, I think; I've been taking notes on rares list values and pretty much did not write down anything for the sorbet worthy, because I've seen a few people say that "oh those sorbets can be swapped pretty fairly" yet I see that a blue toxic is worth three green toxics and a joker is worth two, which mean that according to the rares list, the gap between the pink and green sorbet is more than a green toxic--and that confused me when I saw people say that the pink and green sorbets should be swappable xD;

It feels like the Rares List is kinda outdated--only updated when a new UR comes into play...
And I'm curious as to if the "main" list will have these changes when that new one is placed (The one below the Advent list for those older/valuable Very Rares).
Is there a date as to when it will be released?

I actually tend to move things around often enough, but I haven't lately because I've been very busy.
I'll be able to change things around in a few weeks.
