DEAD---Please Lock

"Dante!" SHark called and tossed the wolf he was fighting with away. He too had new scars and his chest was bleeding froma large wound. But Shark ingored the pain that rippled across his chest and he leaped to the wolf that had attacked Dante. This wolf was bigger and was harder for Shark to attack with a pounding chest. He snarled and the wolf snarled back, "I won't let you hurt my team mate and get away with it!" SHak growled. "I'd like to see you try pup." The wolf laughed and pushed his head into Shark. Shark yelped as the wonf was knocked out of him. He flapped his paws to land on the ground, put he relized that there was only air below. "Good bye useless pup!" The wolf chuckled, standing over the egde. SHark growled and hooked the large wolf with his claws, causing him to tumble after him. "If I fall, you fall!" Shark snarled, "'Cuz I don't fall to the weak!" Shark flipped around in the air as he fell at a steady pace down the side of the cliff. The wolf yelped as it smashed into the wall of the cliff and it swirled down to the river with a large spash. Sharkfang yelped as twigs cut his back and stomach as he picked up speed and fell into the icey cold water.

"Shark..." Dante mumbled weakly. He winced, trying to get up, but he didn't have the strength. His eyes widened when Angel jumped over the edge, growling. "Im coming Shark!" she yelled. "When did she-" he smiled, deciding not to question it.

((What does Angel look like?))

Shark winced as rocks hit his back and the river's current carried him along. Shark gasped for air as he resurfed and weakly started to paddle. The icey cold water mad ehim stiff, and his wounds drainded faster with being in water. The current sent him in many directions and he spotted the wolf yelping for help as it disappeared under water. Then Shark looked back up at the cliff where the fight was. He was surpised to see . . . Angel? Jumping from the cliff. Why was she here? Was she fighting too?

Angel slinked through the water, her smooth pelt perfect for moving through the water. Paddling towards Shark, she grabbed his scruff, pulling him to the surface.

SHark felt Angel helping him. He didn't portest, he just paddled with his own paws, not wanting to pull them both under. He hoped they could make it shore. But this current seemed so fast and strong, he wasn't sure if they would be able to get to shore. Sharl was pretty sure this river ran past the barn but he wasn't sure. He paddled still, not wanting to put Angel in any danger of being pulled under. If Shark was dragged under, he wasn't sure if Angel could keep him up, even thopugh she was strong, he was a slightl;y bigger dog than her.

Angel wanted to gasp for air once she reached the surface, though she resisted the temptation. Knowing she'd let go of Shark in the process, The current dragged the two along, until finally, Angel spotted a large branch. Smiling she swam as hard as she could, trying to reach the branch which hung just above the waters edge.

Star leaned over the edge."Hurry!" She watched despertly as Angel helped Shark. She wished and hoped they would make it out alive. She felt something sting her side and she was thrown to the side. The monster roared again, it's back to the cliff. But Star knew what to do. Were the thing was standing, below were large pointy rocks sticking out of the water. She knew those would kill the thing. She lunged at it with all her might. She crashed headfirst into it's stomach and it stumbled backwards. She clawed the ground but didnt get a hold and both tumbled down. The wolf monster roared and then died as it hit the rocks. Star was nowere to be seen.

The other wolves didnt know what to do know. No leader and no helpful monster. They all ran in different ways in fear of the team. Star's mother looked over the edge at the monster. It's head was cocked a wrong way and it's body broken and bleeding, the blood filling into the river. No ighn of hair nor ear of Star."Oh Whisper. Oh Dante. Oh Shark. Oh Angel."

Shark clawwed at the branch that Angel brought them to. He panted heaveily, his whole body was stiff and his wounds felt numb. But he still hung onto the branch with strength and looked at Angel, "Thank you." He muttered through his clenching teeth. He wanted to make sure tht Angel wasn't dragged downstream, because he would feel awful if he survived and she didn't. He looked back at the cliff to see the big wolf thing fall and he caught sight of Star's fur, or what he thought might be hers.

Star was stil nowere to be seen. Her mother looked worriedly down at Shark and Angel."You kids alright?"

Dante's eyes widened, "Star no!" he said, trying to get up. Blood poured from his muzzle, but he didn't care, he had to find Star. Forcing himself to his paws he breathed hard, his swollen chest now showing, though lying in the cold snow had helped it.

Angel smiled, "Anytime." she said, padding out of the water. She shook her pelt and shuddered, her eyes widened when she saw the bear.
