Adderstrike snarls and gets slammed to the ground, the breath getting knocked from him. His eyes go to shut , but her snarls and flings the smaller dog off, fighting like Lionclan. Slash! Claw! Duck! he instructs himself and growls low, doing whatever he tells himself to do. A yowl of a twoleg calls the dogs and Adderstrike slinks into the shadows, hissing. His black and white pelt was stained red with blood, deep gashes scoring his pelt until he almost looked like a ball of snow, mud, and red leaves.

A strange gurgling noise startled Rosey. She looked around wildly from the source, before she was hit with a pain in her stomach. She hunched over, moaning softly. What was this? Hunger? Rosey had never felt anything like this before, as far as she could remember. She was feeding off of her mothers milk until the moment she was taken to her owners house. She looked around the clearing, not sure of what to do.
