A yawn escaped me as I woke up from my little nap and I looked with interest at a singing bird that was jumping from branch to branch, I gave it a slight neigh and when I saw it flying up to the sky I took a cat leap ready to sprint after it but cantered in a circle when I heard Kalilah's voice and I smile emerged to my face, but when I heard the worry in her voice I perked my ears and bursted towards her skidding infront of her just a few inches from her standing face to face to giving her a slight but comforting nudge asking with concern ''What's wrong?''

"You! You scared me, I didn't know where you were," Kalilah muttered with a long nuzzle to Helios's shoulder We've already lost Rhaps I cant loose you too." Her blue eyes wide with worry as she quickly looked her mate all over to make sure he was safe "I know its stupid that I worry but..." the equid trailed off. There was a stream nearby and all she wanted to do was go and drink the cool water, her throat was raspy but Helios was more important.

I felt bad for Kalilah, I really did. She was heartbroken and real edgy after Rhaps was lost from our sights. It was a horrible moment in my life, and there was nothing else I wished for then to make her happy. I gave her a slight nudge before grinning ''Hey, I'm okey and a little songbird won't hurt me Kal'' I said with a slight laugh before shaking out my mane and nuzzled her back I then replied ''Kal, listen. I know the whole thing about Rhaps is devasting, but we will find him okey, and in the mean time stop being all so worked up. We equids are tough. Now come on, you look like your thirsty after the way of your breathing'' I said before slowly starting to trot towards the creek, but turned my head to wait for Kal to catch up.

I shook out my mane, grateful for the escape to the creek. This is why I love him she thought, he pays attention to me. She followed the brown stallion, cantering past him with her head held high and a snooty grin. Lowering her head to drink the cool water seeped through her mouth and down her throat, after taking her fill she dipped a slender leg into the flowing current, pulling out quickly when she realized how cold it was against her skin. "Come on, I thought you were a brae stallion not a snail," she teased.

I let out a snort before setting off after her and I noticed there where no way I could stop before the creek so I made a leap and landed nicely in the middle. I felt a huge shiver go through me as I felt how cold it was, but just to show off I lowered my head and drank quite a lot then dipped my head under water and lifted it with such a force water sprayed on Kal and I asked her ''I thought you where braver sweetheart'' then walked out with elegant steps.

"Well, it takes work to look this beautiful," she replied to his comment, at the same time taking a step into the cold water. It sent shivers through her body but she continued, "happy now?" turning to question her mate, "I'm shoulder deep in water and its cold, if its not that bad then get back in!" Kalilah held her tail above the water, determined not to get the long silky strands wet, the water had pretty much covered her extensive mane that now flopped down at her sides.

I shok my head girls ''Well I still looke handsome and I don't need hours for my look'' I joked but turned around and then waded back to her and gave her a slight nudge ''Come on, let's take a swim if you dare to make your own coat wet'' I said with a slight sparkle in my eye then made a small jump and swam in the middle of the creek with my head outstretched but still relaxed and a sigh escaped me. The cold water was a bless to swim through, it made me faster but I knew it would fastly make me as cold as an icicle. But it was worth it, it was sunny so just standing in the sunshine would easily warm our bodies again.

"Handsome? Really?" Kal teased she stepped gracefully, instead of leaping, into the middle. It was the deepest part of the creek and she didn't really ever venture this far out, her head stretched out and she relaxed her tail onto the surface of the water. She brushed it over the surface, causing a small wave to reach over Helios, chuckling to herself she turned and swam in the opposite direction. Water was pretty, she preferred to look at it then actually be in it but why not, it was good to cheer herself up.

Caelan though about his bro's idea, it was good certainly would cause a few laughs hopefully. He was never good at talking really, he used long words and spoke in riddles, Kunjo was the one with the silver tongue. He was always a hit with the ladies, his looks and words made a good combination. "Yeah sure, why not, just try not to get all the hot ones at least," Caelan replied with a wink, he swished his tail hitting Kunjo gently on the back of the leg.

I raised an eyebrow at her but swam in half a circle then swam with sturdy movements after her and it didn't take me long before I reached her and I nuzzled her cheek and swirled my tail under hers then whispered ''No point in teasing dear one'' I then gave her a wink before lifting my tail and hers so water splashed over us, well mostly her.
