Welcome All, I was previously thinking about this.. What are your opinions on me starting an actual Pagan/Wicca/Folk Convention up here in Pennsylvania? :3

Aww, you guys enjoy. I'm in school till May (and then I have my degree! Yay!) and it would be quite expensive to get to Pennsylvania where I'm from. ^^ But someday, maybe, if I save up and don't get a job right away or something like that. I've never been that close to the East coast before! ^^

But seriously, it's a nice plan. Please go through with it! ^^

I wish I could come! My grandma lives in Maryland. I unfortunatly live in Misery (Missouri).

It wouldn't be for at least a year or two, By then I'll be living with my mate and i'll be free to do anything with wicca :3

Oh, okay! Then I should be free to come, hopefully working around scheduling. It might depend what day of the week, etc. and time of year, but I'd make an effort if I could. ^^

I think its a great idea!
But even in two years I doubt I'd be able to go..
I don't think my

2 no passport
and
3 no transport
will be changing any time in the future, but you never know right.

So today Before class I was googling stuff other people have done to celebrate Imbolc so I could jot stuff down in my BOS and the kid who sits next to me starting asking about Wicca. He said it was very interesting, and I know he wears a pentagram for luck/protection. This makes me happy, because soon I may have another pagan at my school!

there are conventions but...... the one's i've been to don't go well. out of curiosity, what part of pa? i'm near bethlehem and allentown and the groups near here aren't very...... good. there is a small shop in allentown that once a month does a gathering to celebrate together. everyone brings something to eat and share and its just really nice. i plan to go a lot this summer. there's songs and dancing and just so many people that make you feel welcome. other then that........ there isn't anything very good in my area other then very small groups.
