Mistystream padded to Scarletfeathers side, and gently touched her shoulder with the tip of her tail, her voice so calm, and soothing, that even a a badger wouldn't be able to resit, "It's ok, Scarletfeather," She mewed, her eyes glinting with sympathy, "Everything will be fine, just let the kit prove herself before we jump to any conclusions."

Scarletfeather lashed her tail at Mistystream and stormed off to the edge of the cave and sat by a wall.

Mistystream rolled her eyes as the she-cat stormed off, but couldn't help but smile lightly. She knew that eventually, she'd warm up to the idea. At least, she hoped.

Larkkit bounced out of the nusery, landing besides Mistystream and staring at the new-kit.

Mistystream purred at the kits innocence, it flicked it lightly on the head playfully with her tail tip. "Hello Larkkit!" She purred, admiring her energy.

Larkkit smiled. "Hiya, Mistystream!" She purred lightly, flicking her small tail.

Mistystream starred down at the small kit, hoping that one day she'd have kits of her own, just like Larkkit and her siblings. "Excited about a new friend?" She questioned her.

Larkkit nodded. "Oh yes! Even though shes a kittypet." She meowed.

"That's good!" She purred, praising the kit. Suddenly for getting how old the kit was, she couldn't help but ask, "How much longer until your apprentice ceremony now? It can't be that much longer...can it?"

"Uhh, I'm 5 and one half so yeah." Larkkit meowed. "Why?"
