Skyfrost opened her eyes and saw Treefur nearby. "Treefur!" She rasped, blinking to get a clearer vision.

Treefur turned to Skyfrost with a soft, but kinda stern look. "Calm down, Skyfrost, or you'll open your wounds again." He meowed.

[Falling_Star]

"Sorry Treefur. Umm, I was wondering... How long till I can go back to the warriors den." She looked hopefully up at Treefur, like a kit begging to go outside. "I don't want to neglect my duties since we're kinda short on cats..."

Treefur looked uncertain for a moment, then sighed. "Erm, you won't be in the Warriors' den for a while. For 2 moons at the most. You had gotten one of the worst injuries of the fight with the badger. Also, you've loss a lot of blood, so if you go hunting and I'm not there, you could die of blood loss. It was hard for me to patch you up and cover the wounds, so I might not be able to save you a second time if one of your major injuries opens and bleeds."

Ospreyfeather spoke to the injured warrior, "And I'll make sure not to put you on any patrols until Treefur gives me the okay."

"Two moons!" Skyfrost screeched. "What am I supposed to do for two moons!" Skyfrost dug her claws into the dirt. "Can't I just keep out if trouble for two moons?"

Hawkstar padded near the Medicine Den. He looked over at Skyfrost worriedly. "We don't want you to push yourself too hard before you heal. I'm not a medicine cat, but I've seen the extra injuries cats have gotten when they went back to their duties too soon."
Hawkstar thought for a moment and turned to Ospreyfeather. "I can go on some extra patrols," he offered. "I don't mind."

"But...." Skyfrost trailed off, knowing there was no point arguing with the leader and the medicine cat. She flopped down grumpily, and glared unhappily at the floor.
