Eragon? I've heard they were good but every time I go to read them, my mother finds the book and decides to read them again. I've started the first book 4 times, and never got farther than that because it would disappear and suddenly my mother would have it. XD
AJDLKF Play auditions went until 6:30. 6 effing 30. I was like, dude, I am not even auditioning for the play. IM DOING STAGE CREW, Whhhhyyy do I have stay for all this? I would love to be in the play, but I want to get a feel for the stage first and I want the Juniors and Seniors to get lead roles (although the freshies did not care to think about the upper classmen...), not me. And omf, if this one girl gets the lead role, I will literally die. She is absolutely atrocious when it comes to speaking, but she's a great singer. I think that the director kept making her read lines because she really wants her to be in it since it's a musical, but she can't read lines. Like really, she couldn't even read them off the script in front of her correctly. She couldn't read Hugo or Conrad or like, anything. >.< Not to sound mean, but she really can't. She has a great speaking voice, but she just can't say the right words. AND SHE CANT EVEN DO IT WITH THE WORDS IN FRONT OF HER. Do we honestly expect her to be able to do it from memory? Everyone else was questioning it, at least everyone I talked to did. But we all think that the director is thinking about her for the lead role Kim because she has the best Soprano voice of the auditioners. :s I bet my friend is going to get the part of Rosy though, because she has an amazing Alto voice and she would totally rock it. She messed up a tiny bit when she was speaking, but other than that she was good. I don't know that some of my other friends will get parts, but I am pretty sure she will.

I got halfway into the book and I just quit because I got super confused and it bored me. In all honesty, the movie was better for me. I could understand things better.

The movie was HORRABLE. I like the books the best.
I feel so sorry for you Kazza. How about next time your mom takes the book, you take it back. Or hide it where she can't find it.

Eragon is hard to read; I won't deny you that. I first read it when
I was younger and could read faster and easier. Not so much anymore. That's another reason I'm not quite ready to tackle Brisingr.

But yes, the movie was terrificly terrible. If it's not the #1 worst movie, it's definitely in the top five.

I bet I could read Eragon now, but it bored me and I still think it might. I hate when books bore me 'cause I get really curious and when a book bores me I finish it anyway and then I wish I'd never read it...

I hear ya. I get the same way.
But Harry Potter bored me at first, and it's one of my favorite series now.
