"The badger should be getting tired," Hawkstar said. "Hopefully it backs down soon." He bit down on the badger's back, using his claws to hang on. He could tell that it was getting tired. The sooner it backed down, the better.

"Yeah, hopefully," Talontip agreed.
Talontip's mood grew to be terrible at Rivermist's remark. He narrowed his eyes and clawed the badger's side, biting and scratching the badger's side as harshly as he could in hopes that it would give up soon. It swiped a claw at his face, yet only a small scratch on his nose appeared, as the badger could not reach to make a strong blow.
Talontip was only trying to help Skyfrost. Now he felt guilty for continuing the fight with the badger instead of getting Skyfrost and himself away.

Ospreyfeather clawed at the badger, his claws sharp and starting to rip its flesh. He growled at the beast. His clan was in danger, and he would protect it.

The badger let out a growl and tried to buck Hawkstar off. Caught by surprise, he let go and slid down it's side. The badger swiped at him, scratching his flank. Hawkstar winced, but continued to fight despite the stinging feeling. He was now a little bit slower than before.
"We should all try and attack at the same exact time," Hawkstar said. "The badger should become overwhelmed and run away."
He hoped that it would work. It has too, he thought. Hawkstar himself was tired, and he hadn't been battling for as long as the others had.

Talontip let go of the badger's side. "Maybe you're right. If we attack now, the badger will hopefully give up."
Talontip gave his bleeding chest fur a quick lick. He then looked at the badger and snarled.
"This beast had better leave once we do this," he murmured. "I won't be leaving until it does." Talontip crouched down and got ready to leap at the badger.

Hawkstar crouched down with Talontip.
"One," he began. "Two, THREE!" Hawkstar leaped towards the badger, his claws unsheathing once again. He bit down on the the badger's leg and clawed at it. The badger growled weakly and took another step back.
Yes, Hawkstar thought.

Talontip nodded and lunged himself onto the badger's shoulder, biting and clawing it's neck and shoulder blade. The badger snarled and began to slowly retreat backwards. He let go and attacked the badger's other leg, beside Hawkstar.

Rivermist had forgotten to get down and let out a meow of pain as she felt something sharp pierce her skin. She fell down on her side, closing eyes tightly to avoid any pain.

Talontip let go of his grip on the badger's leg, and looked at Rivermist in surprise.
"Rivermist...? Are you okay?!" he asked, surprised and worried. He raced over to her, to examine her for any bad injuries.

"I'm f-fine. Just a scratch, that's all." Rivermist meowed silently, hiding the gash on her side with her tail. "The removal of the badger is what matters right now."
