Talon's turn soon came, and he picked out a limb from a dear to munch on while his leader continued with her war council. He felt his heart sink in disappointment as she commented that they would need small and well camouflaged wolves to spy. Talon was nowhere near small, and his reddish fur stuck out like a sore paw. Although Talon had been focused on his leader, he couldn't help but turn his attention toward Dustu as the wolf asked, "May we go to Ash packs territory together? And if so, do we have any permission to attack if necessary?" Talon forced himself to swallow the growl that bubbled in his throat toward the male. Talon wasn't sure, but he couldn't help but wonder if the wolf would use that as an excuse to just launch an attack. Willow pack was definitely not ready, but Talon held his tongue, returning his sight back to Isi...
