Corvo grunted when Clara jumped on him. "You are not a lap dog." he squeaked, trying to push Clara off of his stomach. He kicked his legs, acting as though the girl's weight was unbearable on top of him. "You are a big wolf!"

Corvo stopped his dramatization and turned onto his side, his back pressed against the backrest of the couch. He slid Clara off of his chest in the act, but in a tight squeeze, they could both fit. "How about this?" he suggested. He sacrificed having a lot of room for being able to breathe comfortably again. "Compromise." he sang.

He placed his feet back on River's lap as his mien turned amused. He was, at times, like a child. Tell him to do one thing and he'll do the exact opposite just to defy your word. Say to stop and he'll just keep on pestering you.

Corvo bit his tongue as he stretched his arm as far as he could to reach the remote on the end table. It was a struggle to say the least. After smacking the remote around with his hand for a while, he managed to grab it. He tossed it gently to River with a smile of pride due to the fact he managed to snatch the controller in the first place.
