Venom trotting along the fast-flowing stream, his hooves tracking on the muddy bank. He tossed his head abruptly, flicking his tail with impatience. His nostrils flared, ears perking backwards as he raised his head to view the landscape. It was peaceful and flawless, almost as if he were dreaming. The stallion merged away from the thin body of water, entering a large green field. He reared, his elegant, smooth black forelegs pawing the crisp air. His mane tossed about as he did so, releasing an intimidating whinny.

Silicon snorted, pawing the ground with his ears flattened, as if to challenge the older stallion. His coarse pelt was matted with mud from rolling in the grass, and his eyes narrowed as he reared, pawing the empty air with his diamond hard hooves.

Mistletoe smiled, watching her son out of the corner of her eye as she grazed. She was so proud! It was too bad his father wasn't able to see him grow from the colt he had once been into this handsome stallion.

Cancer grazed close to Mistletoe, watching the stallions. "Hmm, that Venom character is kinda cute. Maybe Ill-" she was cut off in mid sentence when the sound of thundering hooves erupted from the other side of the valley.

Mistletoe pricked her ears and raised her head, her eyes wide. "What's that!?" she thought aloud with a shiver.

"Four full years and you still don't know Mistle?" Cancer snorted. She glanced in the direction of where the hoof beats sounded, smiling when Tourniquet bounded over the slope. The mare's beautiful male whipped in the wind, her muscles rippling under her sleek pelt. Her nostrils flaring Tourniquet tossed up dirt behind her as she ran, tossing her head with a whinny as she passed her sister.

Lithium rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Show off." she muttered under her breath.
