Brokenstar disappears behind the trees and hisses, "Why do you want me to kill him so bad?" He snarls as the white figure appears again.

As Rainpaw trots along behind Foxpaw and Sunpaw, he starts feeling jealously creeping up on him toward Foxpaw, as Sunpaw seems to hang around him more, but he pushes it away, I don't think she likes me at all, he thought before the jealousy was gone.

[despairz]

Honeyleaf trots up beside him and murmurs, "Not every cat needs a mate. Think about how a medicine cat would feel." She trots ahead and scents the air.

[EO+RS]

Once they reached the border, Blackhaze slowed the pace, so that his cats could have time to catch up if they spotted a mouse or did one of the markings.

Sunpaw kept her ears pricked, but didn't find anything yet.

Brokenstar rustles in the undergrowth and hisses at Bramblefrost. "I would never kill and elder, even if it cost me my life!" He snarls and her, then lashes out. His claws catch the air right before her; but she snarls and leaps. Brokenstar hisses and leaps aside, his tail lashing; amber eyes gleaming.

Rainpaw slowly thinks about what Honeyleaf had just said, maybe she's right, he thought, but I still do like Sunpaw a lot.

Honeyleaf scents mouse and smiles, pouncing on the mouse and quickly killing it.

[EO+RS]

Sunpaw watched Honeyleaf. She had good form for a medicine cat. A little beyond her, she spotted a squirrel and began stalking it.

Blackhaze carefully re-marked the border as they went along.

Rainpaw watched Sunpaw quietly from where he was standing, then he scented a vole and went off to find it.

Sunpaw dragged back her squirrel, carrying it because they wouldn't be going back the same way. She walked slowly along near Blackhaze, alert for more prey.
