Only minutes passed before Corvo had cleaned his plate. Hungry like the wolf was an understatement. His eyes flashed with delight and contentment as he leaned back in the booth. "We forgot the steak." he realized, not completely full. At times, one would think it's impossible to sate the Guardian's hunger. His stomach was a bottomless pit.

Surprise tore through the girl when the boy spoke. "You what?" she didn't believe his words, but she did lower her hands a minuscule distance. "I'm not falling for your tricks, hunter." she hissed, eyeing the weapon that now lay on the ground. Maybe he was speaking honestly.... No, she wouldn't accept that so quickly and lead to her downfall.

Axess kicked the sword towards her looking up.

He said giving up compltly.His eyes fulled with haterued and anger but his body was comptly still.

He said remebering what he said earlyer.He sat down on the cold ally way ground.

Hotaru added to the momentum of the sword and kicked it to the road behind herself. She slowly walked forward and paced a circle around the boy. Now she had gained the upper hand, perfect. "You give up quickly, hunter." she noted contently. "You may have no reason to live, then isn't that all the better reason for me to leave you alive? To let you suffer?"

She wondered where her guardian had gone. He'd left her a long time ago and she could help but fear that he might not return. Though obviously she wasn't as good as this other female he knows, she was pretty sure she wasn't such a cruel person that she deserved to die. She knew he had to come back. The concern etched on his face before had told her so.

He nodded rather abruptly. "It's obvious you have some kind of strange obsession with chocolate. Duly noted." His face remained stoic, but his eyes betrayed him with they twinkle of humor. After making his order, a caramel mocha cappuccino to sate his secret love of caramel, he turned to her with her coffee in one hand and his in the other. He held it out to her patiently.

Destiny took her coffee from him. "Thank you.I do love chocolate." She said taking a large drink. A hyper look began to light up her green eyes. It didn't take long for caffeine to take effect on her already hyper self.

Steal nodded. "It was exhilerating. Like watching myself die. Just so magic, but in a good way." Steal said with a smile. He loved the feeling of his muscles comming back into play. Feeling himself begin to come to life again.

The Doctor's character snapped without warning. The thermometer he had been using to monitor the temperature of the concoction shattered within his fist. "You enjoyed it?!" he roared in blind anger. Death was not supposed to make others smile. They were to scream and beg for mercy. "Wrong! It's all wrong!" he snapped, throwing aside the recipe. "It must be made anew!"

"I don't think we need anymore steak, Corvo," River chuckled as she pushes her leftovers in front of him, "Take my leftovers"

Corvo's amber eyes sparkled with excitement. "Are you sure?" he asked, slowly pulling the plate closer. His fork was held at the ready, but he wouldn't eat until he got verification from River. French toast was a close second to meat.

River nodded, giving him permission, "I'm full. Besides, you need it more than me,"

"But steak is good," Clara added. "It fills like no other food."
