Nyx stopped walking. She was in a dark hallway. She walked to the end of it and sat down. She closed her eyes and tried to ignore the pain that coursed through her body. Memories of her and her family flashed in front of her. She put her face in her hands and tried to get then to go away. She didn't want to remember.

Vincent threw up some stones and broke off two spines throwing them and slicing the rocks and punched the third, blowing to bits

"I'm. Fine," Elsie growled. She closed her eyes and let her head fall back against the tree.

Nyx stood up and started walking around again. She ended up seeing someone, but she couldn't tell who. She started walking towards the person. She stopped a few feet away. It was Aden. She just turned away from him without a word. She started walking away with her hands clenched in fists.

Aden turned around at the sound of footsteps. The shadows of the dim hallway fled to his fingertips as he glowered at the familiar girl. He quickly caught up to her and grabbed her by the shoulder, the bandages around his hand were engulfed in darkness as the shadows swirled around. "Why didn't you fight them?" he asked with a small snarl.

Nyx swirled around. Her eyes were full of anger. "You think I didn't fight them?! Why wouldn't I? I tried to keep them from Iba, but no. To you I just want Iba to get hurt"

"You are still alive, so clearly you didn't fight hard enough." Aden countered right back. His tone held rage, but his demeanor was calm aside from his fists that clenched at his sides. "You fought to protect me more than Iba. Foolish."
